Hello everyone and happy gaming. Today I upgraded to Windows 11 from the free software update. I can't wait any longer. But I was worried about how the game would behave after the update. What can I say except that everything is fine, I have no problems with either the Steam launcher or Palia. So whoever is still postponing this update, don't worry and do it. Just don't forget to check if your computer or laptop meets the requirements for Windows 11 with the PC Health program. And so that's it from me. Happy gaming again to everyone.

Basically the connection issues have been around since the game was added to switch 1, long time ago. Ever since then each patch has had more and more connection issues, mostly random intervals, many will be if too many are doing the same action at a similar or same time (loading plot > kilima or plot > bahari happens often).

They've yet to fix it \o/

This is exactly what's happening to me ... it's enfuriating because I want to be at the gate and when I relaunch the game, I'm sent to the central stables... like at least spawn me at the gate bro...

I’m getting sort of used to running back and forth from my plot exits until it finally connects me lol

Why is my arrows veering left and right when I'm shooting a running creature. It's not bend it like Beckham or wanted. So many have escaped cause for some dumb reason the arrow goes straight and then veers of to either left or right before it hits the creature and hits the ground or a tree or something.

theres no way you can trun off the aim assist, if you play on pc, you can "turn off" aim assist by playing with mouse and keyboard, that about as close to having no aim assist

The reason the arrows veer off is because of the auto-assist. There are shmoles underground, even though you can't see them, so the arrows are trying to hit THOSE, instead of what you've targeted.

Blanking on the exact names, but it's often near the hills towards the lighthouse, the big ol grove between the BIG hills (Good RTB spot from what I've heard) and sorta towards Hassian and Tau's hangout by the warp sign and little pond (Sorta around that general region)

(Can always use a Hunting Horn if ya can't find em... Just make sure you have some Dispel Arrows and a buddy with Slowness Arrows to really nail those tricky little buggers... XD)

If you dispell it right before it jumps in the tree it kind of pauses the animation and it stays in one place on the ground and you can just pepper it with arrows.

when you say can't catch, is the fish reaching you and your rods health still has some hp left on it?

reason I ask is because EW is considered current end game, so the vast majority of fish have more excessive "wriggly" mechanics to them

yeah sadly if the rods health goes to 0, you will lose the fish - the brew you can make makes things a lot easier as it increases the catchable area

also there are lures to increase rod hp, fish bite time etc (from einar and you can craft 1 lure as well)

as I have fished a lot over time, I have found just the brew was enough for me, but if you find yourself having trouble with the newer ones, I'd get the rod health lure + brew

Forgive me if this is a redundant statement, but you must be careful not to reel in while the fish is jumping. Only when the reticle is green.

I have noticed though with the corn vs other epics, since the EW update its probability needs looking at, it's not in line with other epics at all. I was catching 6 ancient fish to 1 corn on average in recent tests
