yea it does that , hopefully if you keep trying it should work eventually ? idk. i would call it a bit jank bc esp bc of the elderwood update there are a bunch of bugs as a result of addin all that new code. and the point of an open beta is generally to resolve janky aspects by baiscally crowd-sourcing the finer points of games testing

But please note that whoever you choose as your Shepp will not impact you after the ceremony you have. There is currently no acknowledgement of Shepps or special dialogue with whoever you choose.

The only aspect of the ceremony that is "important" is what Acceptance Wreath you would like, however it depends on what your personality is. You can see what your personality is in the Inventory menu (it is the icon to the left of your name above the Focus bar)

But you can get apples early using a trick.
Get level 7 in bug catching and buy the honey lure recipe.
Open it in your workbench and click the little + next to apples.
Request apples 4 times, let people know in chat for good measure, and make a seed from the apples you got.

there is a max of 16 rounds in hotpot. After 16 rounds and nobody has won, everybody gets 1 coin. Spampot allows you to get way more coins vs actually playing maybe 3-4 games if you are there the whole time it is open, INSTEAD you can get like 20-30 coins depending how fast the table is

if you attach a ramp to a floor board you can create these "awnings" that can attach much higher up than just the ramp alone. makes for a more flush look

Also one of those days I'm not sure if a cut scene would cause you to miss that day when it played as soon as you get in-world
