I do yes. BG3 is turn based and you have to roll to succeed your attacks. You play each character in combat

It is slow at first but you get into the groove

It's turn based so you can take your time with it wich is nice and it has really good difficultly settings that you can change any time so you can make it easier for yourself

and I love a lot of things about Dragon age but the combat sucks (particularly in origins) the story and voice acting are excellent though.

well in bg3 you can put the game in turn based ANY time (not just combat) so you truely can take your time as you see fit

There is a bit of a learning curve though but the game has a TON of guides out there and reddit posts if you need and or want help.

I think it depends on the situation. But I get what you mean. Once there were only four other people joining (the rare occasion where people said they weren't coming) so we cut early. Cue 2:30am and a bunch of people popped in and started asking and then bullied all of us.

Are you on PC? If you go O and then under the icon for the camera, is an icon with a person and a + next to it. You can add their username there

Okay, you can hit "O" to bring up the Social Menu. And there should a tab or option to add a friend

And then from there, you should be able to invite one another to a party. If you both join a party, it should (hopefully) put you both on a server when you rejoin. And even then, on the friend/social tab, there should be a button to "sync servers".

Once you add your friend, there is typically a 🔄 icon next to their name that allows you to sync servers

Yeah, parties do bring benefits solo playing doesn't. But it is optional, you don't have to at all.
I don't have anxiety, so I can't begin to think about what you'd think about it or if it'd help, but if you want to (and truly only if you want to), I'd be down for a non-commital party sometime 😄
We can run around in Bahari (for example) and mostly just do our own things and just help eachother when needed with flow trees (if you chop those) or the magic animals.

But uh, do know once I get comfortable I am a silly goose and it doesn't always take long, here that other day I said "ribbity robbity that froggy trashcan is my property" within 15 minutes of knowing them.

So here we are, 1 year of guild leading sometime in August. I have my mishaps with projects, but hey, we all have that. Except he didn't in the 4 years this year I've been part of the guild.

if you press N in game it'll open the community tab more. If you've played a few games before like WoW, Guild Wars, etc etc, it's basically guilds. You make a name/desc/etc, invite people, have them as officers etc, build your own community up.

But right now that's all you can do, some stuff was/is planned but nothing has reached the live shards; likely in the future though.

It sort of depends on what you're looking for. The game has a lot of RNG type elements in it, with no real pity/bad luck system (Where after x amount of times, you get said thing as a guarantee).

It's def more of a game where youre just vibing with others (imo), and there isn't too much cooperative play-- like no real incentive? I guess. At least, not for me.

There's currently a handful of accessibility concerns, too-- but hopefully that will start to get better, since Tarina & I (mainly Tarina! She's a gem) made a list about some of it, and sent it to the devs.

There's no earnable outfits, currently, either, unofrtunately. But there's a lot of house decorating. If you're into decorating, houses etc, then this might be more up your alley, because that seems to be one of the main focuses currently with the game.

i said before but kilima/bahari are the “tutorial” areas for me, elderwood would (hehe) be the first open area we get where it’s expanding on the game play and other features, then hopefully as they see what players “look for” in these types of games more they add more zones (not just one at a time), im wanting at least 3+ when we get out of beta so you can spread out in the world more. but if they have a set “only these zones” mindset that’s ok too cuz i play skychildren and that’s like… 7? realms but even in them there’s like 3-4 areas you can play in , some even go different during certain events or quests

I guess. I don't know. The game is also a live-service game, so it's always going to add updates and changes to the game. I just think about WoW, honestly, and how they are a fully released game. But they still add in expansions, which sometimes adds new core mechanics or updates to previous ones.

But tbh, my main thing is:: I just don't like how theyre using the beta title at this point, considering they don't' have it properly in the description of the game on steam, epic games or the switch. And I'm assuming that'll be the case still on PS5 and Xbox. I feel like it should be pretty clear for the consumer/player that ends up playing, so they know if they want to continue, or put money into it-- since some folks dont' want to play a game that is in beta, or even put money into it. Just feels odd to me.

Yeah I agree that it should be disclosed. But I think that this game may not be in complete "beta" I think its technically released, they just arent finished working on the main parts / non expansions. After they complete the main parts, they will "release" the game. But, since the parts completed are technically finished, the part we play is the fully released version. (This is my interpretation of what they are doing.)

This, but also, some servers that ppl get put on is better than others. There are some where the chat/people end up berating someone for not knowing one of the made up/player made rules, and then try to get the entire server to report them. It might still technically be 'tame', but it still sucks. It's made some folks striaght up quit the game, sadly
