Npcs don't show any type of outward signs/pins when you're dating them. That would be too complex and difficult to code visual asset instances unique to each player after the pin is traded. We're the only ones in universe that actively wears romance pins.

Not at all! It's poorly explained (sort of a trademark around these parts) in game and unless someone's there telling you about it (that's us!) it can br near impossible to learn! Many folks are shocked to learn you can date multiple npcs or even all of them with no negative consequences because it's just never really told to the player even though we have multiple pin slots for romance!

Seems to me like you're trying to rush through the game, based on your recent "Tried to get X with no luck". This game is meant to be enjoyed at your own pace and some things can take quite a while to acquire. Do know that if you treat it as something that it's not (a game where you try to quickly check everything off a list), you will finish it in no time, leaving you with nothing to do. Be patient and do the thins you want to do. There's no rush.

really the closest one is the trout dinner where it reduces the time a fish hooks onto your rod, increasing the chances of catching a rarer fish

Nothing helps you find rare or epic fish, you can only use hook time booster foods or a hook attachment (fishing near friends also gives a boost on that too) so you can just get more chances faster during the time frame the fish you're after is catchable!

yea, all of the fishing boosts really only help with the actual fishing minigame and not actually give you a higher chance of getting the fish you want besides the worm you are using, the time, and where you are fishing
