If it's that simple, it should be fine. What most scams do is they ask for further DM messages - where they can ask for personal information, among other things.
The hook is the prize. Once they establish a connection, they can do all sorts of things, which is why you should always be careful. If it's just add your IGN, get a prize, then yeah, all good.

Then the one time I am NOT epic hunting and have no buffs on I get the unicorn fish and LOSE IT!! 😭😭😭 (I have not recovered emotionally yet)
