I've blocked quite a few people this week for it, though just the ones I confirmed had done it to intentionally grief gathering groups. I don't know what's changed. All I can do is stay reasonable about it and make sure I don't end up on a server with people who like to ruin other people's fun.

Gobbling of groves comes and goes in waves. Often new content (the resurgence of players bug hunting for plushies right now, for example) brings the griefers out to play. Just block and hop if possible, or just leave and go back in a few minutes. They'll get bored of being ignored and go cause issues on some other game

The upside is seeing how many players remain chill. The first assumption is usually that it may be a player who is unable to communicate or doesn't know Palia's cultural norms when it comes to these things. People have tried to explain before they shame, which is what makes me feel like the community as a whole is still generally helpful and kind. We'll be just fine.

Yes. The fishing pole upgrades will move faster and have more line health which will make catching fish easier. If you can upgrade, you should!

It's okay to have boundaries! It can be hard at times to say no but that's really all it usually takes for folks to understand that you'd like to play solo! You should be able to play how & when you like without fearing being imposed upon. Let them know so they have a chance to correct their behavior, then remove as a friend if they don't. Respect goes both ways- real gaming friends should honor your feelings & requests for solo time!

A grove is a group of purple, health regenerating flow trees that spawn in one of several designated locations in bahari every game night at midnight. Large flow trees require multiple people to chop them since they regen health! So lots of players meet up at groves and usually wait until around 3am in game for enough player to gather and chop. Flow wood is seen as "rare" by new players even though it's not and sometimes griefers like to chop groves without letting others participate. But now you can finish the ||temple of the roots bundle || and the quest ||A Gardeners New Oneness|| in order to gain the chance drop of ||flow tree seeds || to grow your own on plot- so it's less and less an issue realistically for players who might not want to encounter said dramatics.

Groves were created as a way for the whole server to come together and gain a rare resource a bit faster by working with each other. So unlike free-standing flow trees, the community has adopted common curtesies for groves. As a way to help each other achieve a common benefit.

Joining in is always welcome! That's the point of groves. They're for everyone. You show up, hit each tree once, wait for everyone who announces 'omw' to show up (typically by 3am everyone will have gotten there but sometimes people are further away), and then when it all gets chopped down everyone gets a lot of rare wood! Some people have been rolling through and intentionally taking down groves right in front of the gathering crowd.

Yes, basically I hunt until my inventory can't take anymore haha. It adds up pretty quickly. Tbf I'm usually picking up other things as I go, it is very difficult for me to truly focus on only one skill while I'm in bahari.

Preserves Jars increase the value of any produce you place inside! It's definitely worth crafting a few more of those so you can have a lot of preserves going at the same time. Just makes that passive income arrive a bit faster.

unfortunately they are hidden, can't be seen or taken back out of storage... no tags/category for storage . The best thing to do is when you get one sticker, place it at the top row of your carry on inventory, that way any further stickers you get keep adding to that slot and are safe and wont go accidently or get pushed to overflow bar.

Not really gone, just hidden/can't be seen. They're technically there, you just can't access them. You should be able to see them when they end up adding tags/category for them. Hopefully next patch

I have an issue since I got the exquisite fishing rod: It seems like I get a bite, but when I start to reel it in, the rod flicks over my head and I catch nothing. Seems to happen more with glow worms on the hook. This never happened with a fine rod and below ?!?

Is this a known issue? I didn't like fishing before, but this makes it worse.

Attacking anyone for how they want to play is silly and uncalled for, but to be fair it goes both ways. If someone wants to actually play the game the way it’s intended, they should be able to. I don’t think their options should be play spam pot or don’t play. Best advice I can give is block the meanies so you don’t have to see mean messages and play how you’d like!
