Well it's the most wiggly fish in my opinion, and if you hook it without buffs and you aren't ready it's very understandable to lose it. Fishing isn't as accessible to everyone as it might be for some. Ancient can be the hardest to land for many folks. Even with buffs.

I got this new thingy as a deco and heard it can drop you seeds - specifically FLOW seeds? I have not received any seeds from it - nor anything from the other creature (I'm not sure what creature is this - a bird? Anyway, only one that has dropped me loot a couple times is the cute orange fox creature. Anyone know if the statue is bugged or is it just denying me seeds for another reason?

It's only once per real life day, you'll get the loot prompt after reset. Also be sure you completed the post temple quest ||A Gardeners New Oneness || for a chance at ||flow seeds || to drop as well

Tbh when i started palia in april i thought the same and had the same question in my head just like you. In the meantime i start to questioning their priorities. In my personal opinion the communication could be better (nicely said) because it feels for me they are not addressing the bugs, they don't communicate with us if they have those bugs on their roadmap or not. And with every update or fix they add some more bugs. This gives me the impression that their paid content has a higher priority than fixing those many many many bugs. And i am not talking about some visual glitches, i am talking about the bigger bugs like the cooking bugs, stuff that makes the game less playable. I am still thankful for this awesome game but if i could light my candle (like we do right now in game haha) i would wish for a better communication 😅
