Totally get that. I do understand why the 5 minute one was needed at the time. Although it does seem to be a bit more manageable whenever people aren't going ham on repeating messages or emoji madness. Part of what also made it hard to keep up for me during the 5 minute slowdowns is that when I could finally reply, I was making replies to five people at a time, scrolled up and down and up and down between people who had replied to me earlier to try and make heads and tails of what I was replying to, and by the time my reply was done there was another 50 messages to get through. 😂

Thing is, it was playing pretty smoothly when I started playing around end of april. It all went downhill a couple updates back when everyone started having the unlootable loot bug. Ever since for us hunting is near impossible cause creatures teleport all over the place (and also aiming is hard lol), loading times kept getting longer, logging in became a hassle more often too, and now it's just plain horrible cause it keeps crashing and lagging so bad, and buildings and stuff take so long to fully loading that I ended up trapped underneath some a couple times already

My husband works in IT so I've seen this sort of thing happen a bunch. They think it's going to be an easy update, patch some things, NBD! Then they apply it and a whole host of things break in response. They undo the update, and things are still broken, so they have to fix the things, patch the update so it's compatible with the original game, and then they can push it out to everyone. It takes a long time and a lot of hard work for the devs. I feel so bad.

This is one of the smallest games I've ever seen or played, especially for a farm sim. There have been no real content updates introducing new areas or substance to everyday gameplay and it's been more than a year. It's actually... pretty awful. From my perspective it seems like S6's decision to make Maji Market a recurring monthly thing were most likely more of a unique factor, i.e. trying to buy more time for Elderwoods. I can be easily wrong though. If that's the case, I do think there's definitely still hope for #3. Even if they use the monthly Maji Market as a basis for your version of "Market Day", I can easily imagine the area getting changed up to contain player features as well as NPCs. That might make more sense lore-wise too, so... we'll see <3
