The only reason I'm convinced tickets will carry over is because when Patch 0.184 went live, as soon as I loaded my game, I had noticed I had 784+ unspent tickets from Luna New Year market. So I basically started this past week's Maji Market with 784+ tickets as a head start. But the question now remains if everyone else's tickets from LNY rolled over or if I just had a unique bug.

I feel like they improved upon the market a lot with Luna NY, but then with the return of Maji Market they dropped those improvements. It seems to have regressed, which is a huge bummer. I do enjoy the balloon game, but the gap when there is absolutely nothing to do before chapaa chase is just way too noticeable after Luna NY resolved that initial issue.

I do get that it makes it less fun, I don't disagree with that... but honestly, I don't see it as the players fault. The way I see it chapaa chase spawn camping (at least to the degree it is now) is the resulting symptom, not the problem. The problem is the abysmal spawn rate that ends up leading people to have to spawn camp to get a reasonable score. It is resource starvation. Too few chapaas for too many players. If the choice is between running around and chasing them and maybe get 4 chapaas, or spawn camp and hit between 14-20... yeah, people will camp. Even when you get a great score, chapaa chase still gives such a low reward that anything people can do to make it close to worthwhile they will do. Blame for it having become unfun is ultimately at the decision maker(s) who led to the market having such an egregiously awful spawn rate.

hey does anyone know why I could be getting an error when i load up palia, it says there is an error connecting to steam?

I always fire three arrows at the blue balloons. Unless the UI is wonky and I just get the points delayed, it seems to delegate points depending on how much you contribute to it being destroyed. Sometimes I've hit it with one arrow, but it seems if someone else has given it 5 or 6 I don't get points for it. Same has happened with two arrows. Three arrows seems to be the sweet spot that guarantees points for it, then I leave it so others can hopefully share in the points for it. If blue balloons are meant to be downed by multiple people shooting at it, I may as well leave the remainder of it for others. Unless the game has just been wonky and is acting up for me and it always works fine with one arrow for other people.

The whole market and its minigames are held together by two pieces of packing tape and a feather at this point.

That is the correct amount. I think it is more like if 9 people including you shoot 1 arrow at it, you get points. If you shoot one arrow and another person shoots 8, you might not get points. Again, unless there's something wonky happening when I play it compared to others. There are many times I've 100% gotten one arrow in and several seconds before it was popped, and not gotten the points.

The trick is to startle the chapaa before hitting it with the dispel arrow. Let it split, then hit any of them with a dispel arrow. All of the clones will disappear, and the real one will just sit there and let you shoot it
