i mean. i’m actually with the developers on this one tbh. they made it abundantly clear that they wanted rare resources to be rare. they did an ama where they were like, “we’re not gonna change the economy”. which they have drastically changed. i think the intention is that it’s supposed to feel that much better when you get something so rare. at the same time, i’m sure a lot of players were quitting early on bc things were so rare. so it’s a weird balancing act. there’s def been improvements (yay no longer waiting four ig hours so everyone who wants in on a pal can get there!), but i’ve also caught a relatively obscene amount of SRTBs the past few months. and that does make it feel less special when i do.

feels like sq ruby is one of the few things that’s kept its initial rarity. although i’m only mining level 104 and ironically got my first two p early on and didn’t sell them only bc i didn’t know how rare they are and just put them on a log cabin table cos i was like, “ooo, kinda pretty.”

tldr tryna make things rare in a game that’s ftp and keep players is difficult, i don’t envy them, but i also get your frustration.

No I agree. (and that's why I included the young adult bit) Reth and Tish I kind of get. they're too worried about each other to kind of grow up enough. Jina feels neglected by anyone around her except Hekla so I get that. Hassian..... I 100% get the mental health issues my boy has. i really really do. But at the same time, I want to tell him to grow up a bit but also just snuggle with him and let him cry) To me, Einar feels plain, even for a robot/gaduur. I feel more emotion from Hekla and the gardener than from Einar. Jel is 100% adorable but also a bit over possessive. I agree on his mental health bit. As for this last one, I'm curious af now.
