Basically each person brings 1 ingredient (usually but some roles require multiple like eggs + flour + butter) to the cake party. The ingredient depends on the role that you choose. If you haven't done one before, I suggest oven or spreader (no ingredients required)

That's pretty much it. You pick a role, say ... sweet leaf ... you mix the sweetleaf when it comes up in the recipe, then wait till the cake is make, get the loot and do the next one. So you're basically spending just that one ingredient (or none for no ingredient roles) and getting a full cake.

Both are very much attainable. For the ladybug, the best area is in southern Bahari. Pick all the plans to increase spawns. Just going to take a while. For the beetle, any rocks )stone or copper) in Kilima have a chance to spawn the beetle about 10% of the time. Once again, all just a numbers and RNG game.

Just need to be persistent and be-leaf in yourself! If the hunting get's to be too much, just romaine calm and and move on to something else to distract yourself if needed. Plus, the longer the hunt, the more you'll relish in the victory!
