let's be realistic here - if they said 8 hours initially the entire server would lose their marbles and complain about the long downtime.
irregardless, unpredictable issues are inveitable in software design. you literally cannot fully predict how implementation of a patch goes, especially when its a smaller studio than your avg massive one like WoW or something. (even they have patch delays, which should go to show it isnt a fault of the company)

Has there ever been a time where the game was back online at said scheduled time? 🤨 I'm also excited to play but the ones that have been here for awhile should know the drill by now. It's perfectly normal on patch days to expect problems. Sure, it's great if things work perfectly, but....odds are not in our favor for that happening 100% of the time, so it's best to just...set a self expectation to log in a few hours after the original posted time and forgive the team for doing their absolute best, they get as stressed about problems as you do.

Pickled taters? Maybe? When I'm not feeding my worms apple pies, I put pickled potatoes in the glow worm bins and apple jams in the regular worm bins, so all bins give (gave) harvest boost fertilizer.
No clue what this patch will do to that strategy though.

I dont know how to make enough coins to get the things I need. My main source of income is gardening. I only grow cotton and potatoes because that makes the most (i think) so inbetween harvesting I’m just building furniture (my house if chaotic) and trying to give everyone their weekly wants.

this is complaining on a high level, in other games there are delays of days, sometimes unexpected issues happen so it takes longer, try code a game, try to get some bug fixes done and there will be new bugs to fix, they only take as long as they need and not a minute longer, and complaining won't make them update faster, it doesn't change anything except getting the devs upset
