You can only have 8 chests across all plots so you could put one chest on each plot but they are all linked and share the same inventory it that makes sense

Highly recommend doing that first before the plots so you aren't struggling for space in your inventory; actually get copper storage then some more farm plots then the iron

Correct. You get 8 chests max. They all merge into one. You can carry ONE chest to each plot and still access ALL of your stuff. It's pretty great.

Whatever you have total for your storage, you can access on any plot just by taking ONE of those chests to another plot. Not need to craft more. You CAN, but your capactity will only go to a max of 10k total.

I can reach gold cap without too much stress fairly regularly and can spend on carpets or gatcha balls without remorse or panic (and I play a couple of times a week for a couple of hours)

Firstly I had to shift away from a complete hoarding mindset and that really does help! I keep some inventory but not hundreds and hundreds of anything. Then there's just a little self control involved to not spend all my gold as soon as I get it :p

Yeah I have 3 glow and 1 regular worm bin and I'm not currently using them as much but any time I need a lil injection of gold I'll empty out the worms and sell them (I keep just 200 of each for fishing)

Best advice I think anyone here would give is just to pace yourself - you can't get everything you desire in week 1 but be mindful and it'll come fairly quickly

I definitely have lazy days where I just sell raw fish rather than cooking and selling dishes, or I pickle potatoes because I can instead of making seeds to sell - I just don't get hung up on optimisation any more - it's not going to kill me - I think... :p

I've applied this to my real life as well as I've been on a decluttering journey for 6 months now and my home has never felt more settled 🙂
