I try to think that I don't need more than a certain amount of each item. For example cooking ingredients, you don't really need more than x amount of each thing to be good for many cooking sessions. You can always plant/gather more when needed

Never stockpile things that are easy to get (wood, stone, flint) it takes a few minutes to go get these - if you pop a stack of logs in the sawmill for planks, leave them in there until you need them for crafting (same with stone for glass)
Most things in the game you actually need less of than you store - veggies are the main culprit 🙂

Seeds rack up real quick too and you never need more than the number of farm plots you have

i think clothes will be the one thing we will never really get. that is where the bulk of their income comes from so i feel it very unlikely they will introduce a tailoring system. maybe at some point add some new free in game outfits to spice things up and introduce a proper dye system where you make your dyes and have much more freedom in how they colour the outfits. this would be a good thing.

i think the causual pace and feel of the game is the vibe they want so speeding it up via payments just seem counter intuitive. it also means you dont have to no-life the game to stay current. and remember this is only Beta V0.179.1 we are along way from finished who knows whats coming round the corner

no not any part of the main game should have combat - i think they would lose a large portion of the player base if they did this. it wouldnt bother me i'd be for it but thats not what this game is. keep it purely optional and out of the main story

That's why I think if it did happen it would have to be a minimal boost, no instant building. Just cutting 8 hrs to 4hrs or stone planks 30 seconds instead of a minute using a crystal and that's cost small amount of money. It wouldn't be getting people ahead that much faster

I mean if they add sneak, any dmof the current mobs shouldn't be spooked. Which means you could have close combat with them if you choose to. And it means ranged people can also sneak and still have their playstyle of choice used aka 5 arrows to kill a deer 5 sword swings to kill a deer conversion

yeah i keep forgetting that this game is run on servers. still if this was a singleplayer game (or at least had a single player mode) having a 5 second load time to enter a tiny room would be pretty bad by modern graphical standards

I think you misunderstood why the devs were let go. It definitely was not because of money here, this is just standard game dev practice. If that were the case then would you say Microsoft or Riot were tight on money so they let go of devs around the same time?

yea i’m sure if it was single player it could be coded for like if the npc was to meet you in rooms then they’d appear normally, but since they need to be elsewhere for other players it’s better that way i think what gets me is the travel loading screens in an mmo but that’s because of the 25 per server and it refreshes when you go to a different area thing
