I had an unpleasant experience today that took the joy out of Palia:
It's one thing to ask at 11:15pm ingame time with capslock where the grove is and rant about the answers of other players that you don't know because it's not 12am yet.
It's mean to run there with your friends after the grove has been declared and cut it down without waiting for others.

But then mocking the players who are "too late", pointing fingers at them and laughing at them is more than antisocial and hurtful, it takes the fun out of this actually nice game, which is really about playing together and not against each other.

I have never experienced anything like this in my maingame.
I am hurt and saddened by this experience and think that I will no longer be able to play Palia as carefree and relaxed as before and will now avoid any group activities

The actual easiest way to tell them apart is by being in the fields at around 6pm to see the amount of paper lanterns bugs, which are common, and then being able to compare that color to the greener ones, which are rare. After hunting them for irl days I still have a hard time seeing the difference unless they're both there in front of me to compare!

Yeah, I'd imagine it would also be really odd to see people having a conversation with the air. They could do what ESO does, where story-important NPCs following a player are just replaced with a generic NPC so you don't have like 5 Jagar Tharns in a dungeon... but then that runs into the issue that we don' really have generic NPCs. I recall they mentioned that might be something they did for larger towns to fill them out, but for Kilima Village it's all bespoke villagers, so she'd stand out immediately

Not sure if someone said it already but If you mean the paper lantern bug and glow bug unless they fixed it in the patch, theyre different colors, but the color in your inventory is flipped. So when you catch the blue one in your inventory it's green and vice versa

They must have patched it because in the last few weeks I noticed they were correctly assigned finally! I just got my star one because it was suddenly easier to find them. The tiny color difference plus it being swapped was too much for my brain to handle and I never found them unless looking with a jar until recently. Still need a jar though lmao
