Did y'all know that all moths and butterflies drink blood, urine, mud, and sweat, but only one pierces to get blood. And it is opposite of mosquitoes! The MALES of the vampire moth bite and suck blood and gives it to the female.

ALSO, one of the grossest, most messed up things are the poor female bagworms. Look them up! All bagworm moth larvae make, well, a bag! But the females never leave their bag, and instead lay their babies and...rot in their bag. No wings or anything, they remain larvae-looking to the end.

you should be able to invite (or whoever leader is able to ) the person to server, its like an arrow thats near their name in the social menu

theres a bug where if you go to diff zones it might disband you tho so you just regroup

Partying up won’t just put you in the same server if you’re both already in an area. In friends list there will be a double arrow icon called “sync” or “server sync” once requested other member will need to accept it and they will teleport to your server!

Sure, there's crazy inflation on purchasing multiples of things other than food (namely said [Soil], house parts, and those licenses for more machines on your farm), but really, money in Palia is just a bottleneck created to slow your progress.
Like, if players could trade with one-another, or sell things to one-another, I could see currency being an issue.
As-is, the economy is just... not there.

Selling the crops directly made me ~12k per harvest.

After turning all the wheat into seeds and the corn into jam, I make ~18k per harvest. Takes a full 24 hours for a harvest to process.

Takes 5 in-game days for a harvest to be ready so if I'm able to water diligently, I can get two or three harvests in a day. Let's just say two so that's 36k per day. If I get three then it's 54k.

Most purchases from a skill guild are locked behind upgrade levels, and you need to hit Level 10 to unlock Weekly quests

As far as I know, the only skill where levelling has mechanical effects besides that is Gardening, where it affects the chance of getting a Star crop.

Wrt groves, I feel like it became kind of a community thing for people. So I totally get when people are frustrated that other people won’t wait. I think it’s more about waiting for each other and trying to help each other. That being said, A. People who probably actually need the flow wood likely don’t know what the grove is, and 2. There will literally always be more groves XD but I do get it as a thing that people feel like is a collective effort and why people want to wait for others to join. Ime it’s more fun that way since I can use a lure if it’s a rare case of being above Pavel/in Pulse on the off chance I’ll finally get a rainbow butterfly… Sigh.

Typing in Switch is a pain by all accounts, but it can't possibly take more than 15s to type 'omw'. Now that only flow trees need people to wait it's less relevant. Before I think most of us felt like someone who doesn't say omw isn't entitled to complain about anything. So many people come to the grove that it requires a bit of extra consideration, but still.

Usually takes ~30 min (in-game time) to find the grove, up to an hour if it's a stupid spot like hills inside FF. Then 1.5-2 hr (in-game time) for ppl to type "omw" and arrive and tap all trees.

Sometimes you're in an inconvenient spot where fast travel is not much better vs just booking it. Also since you can't see map when in the fast travel screen, you can end up at the wrong place or not realize something else is closer (also @ me mixing up coral shores and beachcomber like every time)

Keep in mind that
a. fast travel costs coins
b. fast travel isn't always anywhere near where the grove is.
c. not everyone is equally good at directions giving or understanding (we sometimes use abbreviations so we don't make it any easier)
d. you need to be at a fast travel point to get to another fast travel point (which isn't always the case)
e. juggling chat and directions and map at the same time isn't always easy (and yes, the switch users and chat we don't need to mention - if you're on handheld mode it's not the easiest to read)

And climbing up to a grove you sometimes just get stuck under the edge of the area and the game refuses to let you climb the last inch sighs

If there was a spooky cave it wouldn't have to have combat. It could be a thing where if the monster catches you it works like deep water, and it sends you back to the beginning of the cave.

As long as the "spooky cave" was an optional experience and didn't have any unique rewards it'd be fine.

It's rumored that the beast of the Elderwood has an entire cavern filled with plushies, but you'll have to defeat it in a Dark Souls-like combat encounter, and if you die the game deletes your character and all progress you've made. But if you succeed you get 100 plushies.

It's part of their new Palia Hardcore mode.

None of the recipes that use silk really stick out to me as something it would make sense to have a lot of. Most of the ones that do don't use all that much relative to the other ingredients

I prefer to clear out storage making furniture, but I just sell or give away almost all of it.

when a Purple millipede pops out of a rock when you mine, just catch it and you won't have problems with silk. most recipes don't require that much silk. maybe at the beginning when you start with a specific furniture set you might feel a bit overwhelmed, but afterwards you will barely use silk if you just keep getting those bugs.

I'll keep that in mind, thanks! Currently I'm making the investigator set, but also had two different quests that required silk as well. So it did get a bit overwhelming. Just bad timing they all lined up like that for me I suppose.

Y'all I just bought my first Hunter's Target (the decor from Hassian), and idk why but it surprised me that it actually MOVES!! I think it's because I had the wooden sernuk one, but I love that this one has real physics :DD

If you can make buzzy jars they will pay back more then tenfold in silk you put in to make them.

If you can't just mine stuff in Bahari and pick sweet leaf in north Bahari. Doing that spawns centipedes and mantises which drop silk.

Just think of it as doing a quest for your employer and the reward is gold, reputation, and increasing your friendship levels with your boss. You get to play Palia in real life today! It may not be quite as charming graphically, on the other hand the realism of the graphics is incredible.
