You level up farming by harvesting your crops, so keep up on watering them and you'll be able to harvest them soon. Growth happens at 6am each game day, so you can re-water / weed / harvest things from then

It’s a stove, oven, prep station,and a mixing station, and you get the stove at lv 2. Until then need to cook on the fire pit. And everything is bought through reth.

Just fyi, a lot of early recipes are good with 1 of each, but you eventually will want 2 of each. Both because some recipes need like 2 of a given thing, and also to help with group cooking.

I kinda worried about that being an eyesore, but if you like design a kitchen around eventually having both, it will work a lot better.

You can buy it from the register in Tish's shop, but it's pretty expensive. The easiest "rare" bug to find are the Rainbow Millipedes in bahari, as they spawn when you break rocks for mining.

Azure grasshoppers are plentiful in south Bahari bay they are pretty easy to catch. As you upgrade your bug catching you can upgrade your bomb bag which will increase the % chance to catch bugs

Yeah. Make sure to grab all of those while you're like farming iron for furniture or arrows. You also just eventually get a lot better at spotting certain rare bugs. For some things, once you've seen something once, it gets a lot easier to spot it. You also know when and where things spawn.

Don't feel like you have to chase anything in particular. I just sorta took things as they came and never deliberately tried to lvl anything. For food, I'd just cook enough food to never run out of focus, and I just lvl'd at a decent rate from that.

You can keep the game very chill and still steadily advance.

The only early game "rush" is getting the skills to level 10 to unlock all the tools / guild medallions. Even then, there's no hurry getting to that point, as this game is one you can play at your own pace 🙂

It's so hard to get gold in early game, it's best to save it for unlocking new equipment and inventory bag upgrades

as you level up your equipment and skills, you get access to stuff that will help you make money more easily

If you want easy ingredients for grilling, remember that like you can fish with no bait at the pond in your plot. chappaa also go down in 1 hit from the basic arrows. so there's easy fish/meat there

There are players who run cooking parties in the "Looking For Groups" channel that are very welcoming for new players. Some of the roles in cake parties don't require any ingredients at all (like "ovens'), and some organizers will reserve a spot like that for newbies to get that early gold for things like the inventory upgrades.

I was pretty new when I joined a cooking party for the first time, and the players took their time to walk me through how to do my part and answered all my other newbie questions while we cooked

To be exact the regular sernuk and elder have a .01% chance or 1/1000 chance. The proudhorn has a 1% or 1/100 chance. Those numbers do not guarantee you will get one in 1000 or 100 kills

It would be cute, however I don’t know if they’ll do it since the world on the switch already doesn’t render flowers unless on homeplot. Weather would also be PC only.

You can simply plant them like I do, anywhere in the soil spots allowed, or you can use strategy to get certain bonuses. Like water retention, for instance. I have no idea the combos on that, though. I think there is a gameplay help forum that explains the different pattern bonuses.
