True, but not everyone has those extra accessories for their system. They at least need to add in a few hotkey popular phrases, like "omw" for Switchers to use. Servers that have mostly Switchers on them are so quiet. Like ghost town quiet.

honestly i wish theyd hyper focus on fixing all of these issues before even thinking of adding more content and things to the game. it may be a beta and have not much content, but at some point you need to hunker down and squash as many bugs as possible to have the game be in a much smoother state before you can keep adding content onto it

Each twitch drop wave lasted a week. Not a single day. It was just a matter of sitting in someone's stream for the required length of time for all 3 drops. Much more generous time wise than a lot of twitch drops from other games

I think this is one of the reasons why their whole RNG system is flawed too. It's very anti-streamer, it's something we will easily burn out on. Very few people want to watch someone shoot arrows or fish for an hour - even as the streamer it gets tiring.

Pity mechanics are a way to ensure progress even when a task is otherwise RNG-based.

There is only one way to solve the rng-grind problem to be fair:

1. Drop tables like usual
2. Add possibility to trade in stuff for some tokens which can be changed for the plushie.
   This way even if someone has worst luck possible with RNG, at some point they will be able to purchase it for those tokens

No. People just don't want to spend over 100 hours trying to catch a singular fish. It's boring and makes players burnt out. And it's like that with pretty much everything in the game. There needs to be ways to alleviate that grind - like a food players can buy/make to increase the chance of catching a rare fish for example.

You are genuinely misreading things, so I'll do my best to be very clear for you.

A pity system doesn't mean you get everything in a game without any work at all. It means that you work towards something, and it eventually gets easier over time. Which si fine, valid, and what some games with RNG has. (Not always, but with some stuff it is).

Some of the things via RNG is also required in the bundles. (Looking at some fish, cooking recipes like Sushi)... it's awful. Some people have spent days. Weeks. Probably more. Some of this is also inaccessible for others, but I won't go on that topic rn.

But if there was a pity system, or a way to gradually make it easier over time-- so again, you'd still be working for it, would be a lot better. That isn't being handed everything on a silver platter.

And I mean, if youre also going to be marketing yourself as a cosy game. Marking yourself to be accessible, or this and that ... probably should make it easier and not make it something that is overly frustrating 😄

I carry 300 slow down arrows for Bahari sernuk and 300 dispel for the Magic Moose. And I run out of the slow down pretty quickly. To date I've crafted/used well over 5000 arrows and -just- got my 1st plushie drop day before yesterday. Part of the issue now is not how many sernuk you kill ... it's can you FIND sernuk to kill.

But yes, big agree. Even the Gacha system (zeki coins) doesnt have a pity system (as far as I'm aware?) which also gets upsetting lol. Would be neat if there was a way to put in a lil book there, of things you "wishlist" that come out, so you have a higher chance to get them (along with other ways to guarantee/pity system as well. So you can still ""grind"" but it's just easier.)

You can even have it set to where you can get a Y1 completion (via a setting in the game before making your farm).

Let me put it this way. Most people have no issue with grinding, as long as they KNOW they'll eventually receive the reward they're after.
What people have issue with, is feeling like their time spent was completely wasted, which is what the problem is with pity-less RNG.
Someone can kill 1000 sernuks, get no plushie, and still only have a 1/1000 chance.
A pity mechanic could be, for example, guaranteeing a plushie after 2000 kills.

In scenario 1, pure RNG: "well, I just spent 10 hours killing sernuks and I'm no closer to my goal than when I started. This is awful and stressful!"
in scenario 2, RNG + pity mechanic: "well, I just spent 10 hours killing sernuks and didn't get a plushie.... but I'm halfway to a guaranteed one now, so I'll keep at it and I WILL get it"

DO IT i got it in 2016 and i still play it. if you ever finished the base end game, you can play cool options (like "remix" bundles) which randomize stuff that you might have memorized and therefore there is always new content. the mod community is CRAZY too and it adds SO much to the game. plus you can make ur stuff pink and aesthetic which is all i care about.

a lot of the mods looks bad. they lose their detail and the accents like you said. for example the chic couch in classic looks pretty bad. the stitching is the same color as the couch and the arrow designs are blurry

ranch kitchen counters in calathea and autumn lose a bunch of their wood counter top detail compared to the original. a bunch of stuff needs to be redone

Hey! I noticed you commented on needing a ton of glow worms to catch one rare fish-hopefully you don't mind a several-hours-later ping ^^;
I'm not sure if you were aware of this, but, there is actually a way to avoid spending bait until you see a specific fish you want to catch- I've spoiler'd it in case it's not something you (or anyone else reading) would be interested in, but if you are:
||You can actually see what fish you're about to reel in when it swims up to bite the hook, right? If it's the one you want, hook it. If it's not one you want, let it swim away WITHOUT hooking it, and then reel in+recast when no fish are biting- letting an unwanted fish swim away before you reel in will not consume any bait. This allows you to avoid spending bait on fish you don't want, and save your bait for the rare ones you do want. (As an extra note: if you're too slow to hook a fish you do want, just wait and do NOT reel in your line- the same fish will come back to bite again as long as it's the same cast.)||

There was a bug recently that let you get up to 10k storage in the lock box by just placing 100 of them. They fixed it before I could think of more stuff to add though. So I effectively can never lock anything away ever again.

Fine arrow does more damage. Iron isn't really rarer than copper, so there is no reason not to switch.
