Personally I've liked the PC version a lot better and I have it downloaded from the website and for me it's worked well. (But idk if on the steam launcher if you have to enter the password each time cause using the launcher from the site you do lol).

Alsooooo I'm crazy and I've played a bit on switch and then launched it later on my PC and picked right back up without missing a beat lol.

Your experience msy vary, but most online-style games with their own launcher work better via just the OG launcher vs having to involve Steam in it.

It's probably not worth getting into about Palia specifically (or possible without a ban), but games companies have certainly maintained a sort of vague superposition of completion/beta before in order to both be released and shield themselves from criticism. I believe that's what people are annoyed about.

I figured it out! Apparently, after the tree reaches adulthood, there's another stage called "mature", and that's what you need for the quest. So your tree, indeed, needs to grow one more stage! :3

We had the opportunity to play the game in coop with my gf, so i have somethings to say as a first impressions review.

The game is super nice, but:

• the movement of the character it's a bit outdated i guess (animation talking)
• the fact that you cannot have a shared plot (meaning that also if im offline you can go on and upgrade it, manage it and so) it's sad
• There is a lot of Desync thru clients, we were screensharing on discord and she always saw me in a different position than where I actually was

The best way to combat that in my expirence is to block the people that do that sort of thing and expand your friend's list. The game tries to put you on the same server as your friends.

i just have an issue when ppl flame others for not either knowing the "unspoken rules" (because new, or just didnt know), didn't think about it, or just... in general-- flaming others just isn't great.

like for example, with me, i genuinely struggle to read the in-game chat. it's very small. so it's just bothersome and just stressful. even typing in it isnt great. so when i played, i genuinely rarely called things out because of this. Or i was just very dissociated to where I just wasn't properly "here".

& other people could be having the same thing, or they are just wanting to vibe. never know. i know there are malicious people as well, obviously, but it just blows to see either side flaming the other.

I can not speak for others other than my own experience, but I am also hoping people can understand that point of view as well. Because a lot of people don't think about it or forget about it. Just because it doesn't affect everybody/you (general you, not specific), doesn't mean it doesnt affect anyone, ya know?
