I'm actually fine with the game lacking combat outside of hunting though. Although it is a serious pain sometimes because it's nearly impossible to kill animals if you don't one shot them

This is my nostalgia speaking, but I miss the days when I'd play Pixie Hollow Online where there were mini games for crafting furniture and baking cookies and cupcakes, where you'd do stirring, pouring, carefully tending flames, and adding the correct sprinkles. To encourage facing challenges and how to overcome them if one thing isn’t following the same behaviour as the others. It’s good to be frustrated as long as they recognise that maybe if they step back and get a snack while thinking about a solution they can make things be even better than if all the parts worked as intended. I don’t know if you mentioned their age but I assume this might not work above a certain age.

I’m the same. I shut down if things don’t turn out as in intended and often scrap ideas and start afresh but I keep the ones I ditched and come back to them afterwards. Even if no longer needed for the intended purpose, I’m either tackling it with a fresh outlook or I’m committing to completing a task. It helped me identify when to take a break so that I don’t have that “to hell with this in entirety” moment.

It's probably similar. Doctors never could figure out what the issue was, so just been learning my limits over time!! Mario Kart 8 is definitely a culprit if i play too many rounds for example hehe

And yeah maybe!! I honestly haven't tried that asdfaslgh; for some reason that never came to mind-- i usually try an icepack every once in a while or i just have lots of rest hehe. And playing games that only require a mouse !!

i think the fidget toy & ANC headphones sound RLY helpful. i also have three pairs of Loops, which are (quite stylish!) earplugs of differing strengths, and they help me a lot when i just need dampened environments/Much Quieter environments - worth looking into!!

Been misdiagnosed so many times and wouldn’t you know it, none of the diagnoses ever really fit! 😂😂 I am very interested to see if the ADHD meds help me. I get task paralysis so much, or I go hard on something for days not sleeping but a few hours. When I get into one of my projects, there’s just no stopping and I’m getting too old to be so sleep deprived 😂😂

i will defo say that ADHD meds Open The Door for helping with executive dysfunction, but you also have to figure out what ADHD strats work best for you too, because your brain is already hardwired to seek dopamine the way it's been taught for so long. for me, i like "productive procrastination", timed tasks, and list making! :-D

He almost had me convinced I am Borderline but he really wanted a genuine psychopath…he would tell me about his other patients and got really into telling me when he finally got his first possible sociopath or psychopath, his eyes were so wide and happy talking about how he had to tell the guy he couldn’t see him I think he wanted the guy to get mad because he was like way too happy looking telling me ‘I didn’t know what he was going to do next!’
I should have listened to my bf about him, he was way too comfortable telling me things he shouldn’t have 😂

i've defo heard about things like this - and idk what your gender is or how ppl may interpret your gender, but if you're femme or you may be assumed to be a woman, it's definitely VERY common to be diagnosed with complex illnesses rather than be looked at for neurodiversity. ESPECIALLY if you're a person of colour, ESPECIALLY if you're black

and ofc i say that with no negativity in my heart for ppl who have complex illnesses ofc, just pointing out the way autism & ADHD have been coded as "boy/man" issues over history

Yeah it made me realize that you really have to be cautious about everyone. Like the one that decided for some reason to tell my medical doctor in the same building all about my childhood so I go in for my appointment and he’s like I’m so sorry you went through what you did as a kid, no one should ever have to go through that. I was there about possible radiology on tumors I have inside my T9 and T11 vertebrae so I’m like wait how do you know about any of that? He says without any issue ‘Oh, Anita told me’
I never went back. I was so mortified.
