I taught myself! A huge help I will say was like Shanarchy just said YT but also the Woobles! They have some premade kits that come with everything you need and vid tutorials you can follow along with, though I will say they are quite pricey depending on whatcha get but there are plenty of other "kits" from other brands you can get too! It took me a while but I kept practicing and now it's second nature, I'd love to teach it in person though sorry I can't 😦

I personally prefer playing through Steam to be able to see my playtime and achievements as I am kind of "addicted" or like.. I love seeing my progress in games in the form of achievements.
One last question: If I start playing Palia now, through the standalone launcher, and then when the Steam version releases, would I be able to "link" my progress from the standalone launcher to the one in Steam? I'm guessing when you go in Palia even through Steam, it would want you to login to your Palia account, right?

Hey friend, I think to activate the source of wind at the very front that pushes you to the last island you need to drop all the original 12 eggs and the additional 3 to unlock it. There are 15 in total, at least that’s what I learned from YouTube when I was stuck (i was also bugged for bit which was apart of the problem too)

There are 15 eggs total. You need to only put 10 into the nest. || If you place all 15 you get a bonus chest. If something isn’t working make sure you have completed all the other quests. There is one to catch 4 fish, one to collect flow bugs. The one for Zeki’s treasure does have one behind a locked door. The one for Elouisa and Caleri has one item on the final island. There are two flow gates on the main island on the left and right sides that need to be activated. ||

I used 4 walkthroughs just to get all the eggs. I hated that tower so much. Plus I kept having to use other walkthroughs because I’d be missing one item and would look all over and not find it. I would just use a walkthrough for it all if I’d known how frustrating it was going to be.

The quest problem is a lot are not overly well explained and trying to find the items is often like trying to find a needle in a haystack. Some of us don’t have the patience for searching every tiny portion of a map. I’m already low on patience for trying to get the last fish I need for the bundles.

yes, the dialog was "bring me the treasures", and at the quests completion it says "Bring zeki the treasures: 6/7"...So now, everytime I go to him, he says "anything new?" and nothing more. And he is still in the main island. There is no wind activated. And there is nothing more that I can do to go to the last island to unlock the door...I even have the piece for him to unlock that door...it's frustrating

It takes ten apples to craft one apple tree seed, so perhaps save enough apples to make at least one seed for next time.
Otherwise, making apple jam is good for selling, and apples are used in some of the better cooking recipes (apple pie, celebration cake).

Sometimes they end up in normal spots, but at weird times. Examples; I've seen Ashura fishing, at 5 am, and Auni standing in front of Zeki's, at 3 am. It's usually only in that server instance, as well. Maybe Reth is at the inn, at 2 am, but if you go home, then back to Kilima, he's not, in that different server

Try to save up a few coins / balls at a time before opening them up. If I do a single gacha pull, it's almost always seeds or fireworks. but if I open 10-20, at least 1-3 items are furniture or plushie.

In Bahari bay scattered around randomly or the Flow Tree Grove (up to 8 trees together) spawn at midnight game time. Someone calls it out, players show up to whack each tree once (to be sure they get the drop) and once all players that want to be are they they chop down together. If you have gotten flow wood at least once you can use the request system (tap O) and request up to 4 times a day

||Go the temple. It's further down the hallway, past the Phoenix shrine, where you started the game. You'll have to glide across the river, to get to that stuff. Once you're done, there's a way back, but I'm going to leav a little mystery for you to solve, yourself. It's not complicated||

Meh I disagree with it being such a big thing but obviously people differ on that. Being outright obscene - straight to jail for you but if a kid gets an innuendo then you surely weren’t the one to teach it to them. Just like they even exist in cartoons or in Palia the game itself - just my opinion though.

So, I just had a stranger in game. They watered my garden. Very nice but being a latchkey kid and parents saying "Dont open the door for ANYONE even if you know them!" was surprising. I would like a "Leave a note for the plot owner" or a lock or something. Am i being too cautious?

you can close your plot to only friends but switch players and controller users currently can bypass it

You can lock your plot to NPCs only if you want to. I normally keep mine locked like that unless I'm expecting someone to visit. I treat it more like a rl door... knock first.
