Groves appear every in game midnight in bahari somewhere. you will see a pink aura in the sky when you get close to it. It's courtesy to go around a hit a tree once and then wait until everyone that's coming arrives to cut it down.

The groves I know of are: Flooded Fortress, Flooded Steps, Windy Ruins, Pulsewater, Top of Pavel, Outskirts, Thorny Thicket, Overlooking Statue Garden on the cliffs.

Do you have dispel arrows? They work the best on the magic animals. They do still blip away but not too far. After a few hits of it you can take them down.

Atm I carry fine arrows, slowdown arrow, flares and sometimes dispel... It's a lot.
Also glow and normal worms, food to keep focus up and the fisherman's brew. 👀

If you hunt it solo, what usually happens is: you get 1 hit with a dispel arrow (you can get more hits but let's say just one), it runs away (can't teleport) and after a while teleports but just once (if nobody scares it) and settles. If you have followed closely enough you can repeat. It needs 6 arrows to go down. If you hit it with a fine arrow instead it will teleport multiple times

I adopted what many players have done. Make one of your plots into a Palia Ikea. Set out everything. Some even have a harvest house(s) for wall items and ceiling lights since tents won't allow the lights. Then you just wander through and pick stuff up you want to use

I had a weird question that seems silly but is important to me!
With new MMOs one of my favourite things is playing it from the beginning and watching it grow a change as time goes on!
I heard about Palia and thought it looked lovely but also saw it was in beta so made a note to check it out once it released...I personally hate playing a game while in beta, I'd much father start with the full release!
But I also noticed when I checked out the fame again recently that there are lots of events and new content being implemented to the game with no release date in sight...which made me wonder, is Palia one of those games where the open beta release is the actual release and the full release is a formality/may never happen? (Like Warframe)
Or is 1.0 just around the corner and they are just adding everything that they originally planned for the full release but didn't have time to implement by the release of the open beta?

They released a bunch of things when it first came out for PC. There are new things now and there was just a whole lunar new year event with things in February that you can't get now that its over. I'm sure they will be back though.

IF and I mean IF they are running a 1.0 I believe we won't see it until around or after the steam release. I will tell you that this is a much smaller company than many are used to....IE wow ffxiv etc. They have said that past items will be available again, so I'm assuming they will add new things to the events each time as well as older items I'm hoping.

you haven't noticed it sitting just behind where you port in at the central stables if you come from another place in bahari?...I use it all the time. I tend to only concentrate on one activity at a time, except foraging I always grab that stuff, so if I'm mining I'm mining rather than going back home I will use that anvil and then go right back to mining, hunting, bug catching etc.

hey guys... follow-up question about foraging and ore timers.... you guys said they're all 3 minutes now... if someone, say, hits an ore node and it begins flashing, then say someone comes to hit it a minute or so later, does the timer restart to 3 mins? or does it continue to count down from the original miner?

I did it a few days ago. The only bug I experienced (minor spoiler for temple of gales) ||was when you have to do the slide puzzle oat the end. I'm assuming that there was some kind of dialogue or cutscene but it glitched the camera into aerial view over my character and i had to hard log but the quest was still completed when I logged back on||

You interact with the phoenix shrine to increase your exp % boost from focus (bonus exp from eating foods). You intereact with the dragon shrine to increase total focus. Both cost 100 renown to do. Increases will get smaller over time with a total of 100% exp boost, and 1000 focus max.

Eventually you'll max out on the bonuses. Then can spend renown on wallpapers in the town hall. After that you'll end up jst getting to a 1k renown max and sittin on it for a bit.

If you haven't full leveled or bought all the things, it's a good idea to use the renown before hitting 1k so you don't lose any, though in the long run it won't matter too much.

yes! each are things you can give once a week. chocolates from general store, or citrine (don't bother with star quality, regular is fine) cannot give him a chocolate twice a week, but you can give a chocolate, a citrine , and a heartdrop all in 1 week

Gotta remember that bricks aren't very big though.

With an average length of ~7.5 inces long, ~3.5 wide, and 2.25 high for bricks, that's actually not that much. For a decent planter you'd want at least 6 inches of dirt, so you're looking at 3 bricks high. From taht total of 40 comes to 13.3 bricks per layer. Let's round that down to 12 per layer, in a rectangle. That gets you a 4x2 box, 30 inches long, or 2.5 feet, by 22 incheses (assuming the bricks on the short sides are nested within the long), or ~1.8 feet.

it took me a long time to realize that when the fish jump up you're supposed to let go of the mouse button to prevent it from reducing the health bar. idk if that was your issue, im not sure how to better keep them in the zone

I always carry Fisherman's Brew (reticle size increase), Fish Stew (reticle speed), and Minor Health Rod Booster (increased line health) to keep up with the tougher zigzagging fish. Those three buffs never fail me when I have them all applied.

What I noticed is that if they're star fish they are more difficult than normal I guess? I have just caught a normal cactus moray easily and then with a star one it was more difficult to reel in

I used to always find that was likelier too, with the starred ones, but I have definitely caught some starred fish like the Long Nosed that came to me easily (didn't fight as hard). I caught an Ancient Fish that way as well, whereas the other two starred ones fought harder. I do think it's just chance.

I didn't have any luck with the honey lure helping w the rainbow butterfly , only buzzy jars. But I hear (tho idk if it's true) the honey lures are more helpful w lots of people

The best way to utilize a Honey Lure all depends on your goal (i.e., which type of bug you want will depend on time of day and placement). Honey Lures are much better done with a group of people so they can help bring down the common/uncommon bugs that spawn--that way there are higher changes of rares and epics to spawn. You'll need a ton of bug bombs (some carry up to 600 for one Honey Lure session, assuming you're throwing bombs at every bug). It helps to have a Buzzy Jar activated too so in the chaos of all the bug bomb smoke and many dazed bugs on the floor, if a rare or epic spawns, it'll show on your radar how close/far it is from you. Make sure you definitely get rid of the blue butterflies because those don't/can't get spooked and will otherwise hang around forever that could otherwise be the place of a rare/epic.
