I still think in my hubbies case it has to do with the J&J vacc. I told him not to get that one, but he doesn't listen. I have been injected with Pfizer and have had no issues, where those with moderna and J&J have. There are some from the pfizer batch too, don't misunderstand, but it seems like a much lower percentage.

I have 2 -42" tvs next to each other but only one is hooked up to the pc currently, I have to get the split thingy for the other tv and I have a laptop next to me too... it's kinda... intensely screen-y around me at times. the swervey tv plays my noise if I'm doing that... documentary or anime/degenerate toon.

Had to learn to write everything down and do stickies to keep organized. I struggled a lot in college and at work until a boss told me "Hey, I think you have ADHD". I think I just have ADD I lack the hyper part. LOL

Tbh some teachers just don’t have a passion for teaching so how do you even engage kids? I’ve had teachers who make learning so fun and it’s lit 🔥 others actually stand in front of the class with a text book and read stuff as if we don’t have our own text books in front of us

It’s honestly so boring because a teacher and a facilitator is not the same thing. Too many teaches just wanna facilitate and encourage self learning but you can’t always do that. Some things you can watch a vid, sure but long ones? The average kids attention span cannot deal so what about a kid with adhd? I had a teacher straight up ask me in front of the entire class if I have adhd because I’m always looking out of the window or doodling instead of focusing on her 😧

In HS, we had an amazing Principal. He had been a great teacher, and kept it going through 2 years as Principal. A genuine educator. So, of course, the district forced him into administration, where he never saw another student. A few years later, he was offered early retirement, or could have stayed in his "cushy" admin job another like 8 years. District brass were all confused Pikachu face when he opted out, as they had expected him to stay. They told him they wanted him to stay. He told them, point blank, "Then you shouldn't have forced me away from my kids."

Teachers need to be special people for sure. I know several, and I also know they put so much of their salary back into their kids because they just don't have the choice not too. So many teachers are keeping snacks and reheatable pastas and stuff in supply closets these days to make sure their students have the fuel they need to survive etc. There are too few genuine educators out there these days. I wouldn't be nearly as well read or articulate without the invervention on one special teacher in the 7th grade.

Like all of us in our family from my parents generation down had her as a student. Because sometimes people would like help with the magic animals and sometimes I get distracted by a grove, or a bug. You have to have some of everything.

It took me a looooong time to finish the cooking portion of the Subira quest. Either I kept getting bugged, or couldn't get star quality. I think I had like 20 regular quality Muujin Baharis in my inventory when I finally finished it.

No that quest is later. You need NPC’s at level 4 for that one.

I take ammo with me all the time in case I see something I need to catch (bug, disco bambi, etc.) and take flares etc. I am not complaining, just hoping these things will come up in the future. Don't mind if I have to do a quest to earn the space/make a storage item for certain things.

I dont know why but the only thing I basically ever look is Jel's house ||(not literally lmao... promise... trust me bro...)|| but it's the only thing I ever get confused about where da heck it's located?? Like I know it's on the right of the Inn (when looking at the inn) and I know it's on the same lane as Zeki's and Tish's shops, but I for some reason keep thinking I'll find it at Sifuu's smithy??? No clue why !!

Like I know you run straight from your house down to his lane (in order: library, Tish's, Zeki's, Jel's) and I know Jel at 11pm (unless interrupted) leaves his house to walk straight, past the inn and the smithy, to stroll to the lake.

But ?? I for some reason keep losing his house??

but it's not cozy so it will never happen, instead people will be stuck for months

Bug fixes were already going a bit slow (I realize some were suuuuuper slow to sort out) and now if anything big breaks there’s the extra hurdle of patches being approved by Nintendo before going live. (I’m not 100% familiar with Nintendos process but I know it’s more involved than other platforms).

It’s a bummer for a live service, cross platform game. The single player games I have on switch that are also available on Steam usually get fixed a couple of weeks on Steam before hitting the switch version.

Hoping whatever bug fix update they have planned will cover a TON of issues, and that nothing too unexpected happens that we have to wait for.

I've played since the closed beta and it's a question I'm wondering recently, since I own the game on PC and switch and it doesn't say 'beta' on the switch like it does on PC, nor does it say so on the steam page (would usually be described as such)

I’m using tranquil waves on one of my buildings and it’s a nice vibe Idr what I’m using as a foundation, but it’s made the foundation look made of gold.

Experimenting with the walls and foundation with different wallpapers has been so fun.

The answer is not clear (although people will tell you it is). The PC version is still in beta because that's what it says on the website. The Switch version is not in beta because switch has a program for early (beta) access and Palia is not a part of it, so must be fully relased on Switch.

The Steam page for Palia, due to become available says it will be available on Steam on March 25th. That page makes no mention of "early access". Unreleased (beta) games must be tagged "Early Access" on Steam. It's part of their rules. So Palia will not be in Beta on March 25th (or the Steam page needs to be updated).

That’s pretty interesting. Then why do they not have the 0. in front of the version number on Switch? Like 0.176 just shows as 176 :/ There’s zero indicator of Palia being in beta. I’m not complaining because I knew about Palia’s status before getting it for switch. It just confuses those finding it in the store.

I guess it’s related to the same reason you can’t link once you’ve installed on switch. Something in the switch link process can’t be unbound but it’s horrible that you have to lose the entire account just because you no longer want the switch link
