Oh there was a bug(?) where you had an over 50% chance to get a spin token, and the minimum reward for a spin is 150 tickets; when they cost 125 tickets, that means you had a 50% chance to make a ticket profit off of buying one LOL

ah if you finished all of the wave bundle you release it into water and talking to einar/hekla let’s you know it’s in the waters, then you just have to catch it randomly as you fish

I took a photo of the fishing spot before i reeled in, and after that my reticle was just gone
I use camera mode a lot weather just to get a closer look at something, or get a picture of something funny without the UI in the way, and i remember a similar bug where the Chapaa Chase UI/HUD would vanish after opening camera mode last september

im thinking it's bc of how camera mode removes the UI, it might also remove the reticle and just doesnt put it back until you change maps (or essentially reloading your character)

it's the only thing i can think of that i've done before reeling in this fish (as opposed to the fish i had caught not even like, 2 minutes before) that could've affected something like the reticle

I'd love if there was something like a fishing assist you could enable that maybe helps the reticle cling to the fish a little?

i know fishing is supposed to be tricky in spots, same with any skill, but it could still help players with chronic pain related things ;w;

I think part of the issue is that Palia is very underwhelming gameplay wise. All it has rn is grind and RNG based mechanics
