See, when you publicize an infinite money exploit it has to move to the top of the list of fixes because it will cause everyone to alter their playstyle to incorporate it. It socially forces people to make use of it. That is why if you find one, have fun yourself, REPORT IT, and otherwise keep quiet. A single person finding that exploit, I agree not a problem. The problem is when it becomes widely known. The bulk of players are encouraged to use it, it breaks progression in the game, they run through content faster, they urge friends to do the same so they can be at the same tier, and suddenly everyone is rushing through content faster then was intended. People run out of things to do, they start complaining on forums, and devs either take the negative publicity and hope it doesn't hurt the game too badly, or start releasing content at a pace to match the exploit use, which means anyone not using it is now falling behind and unable to keep up. Really bad for the health of a game to let it hit that point.

And those are primarily singleplayer games with some multiplayer functionality, Palia is an MMO, You should care there because enough negative publicity and game fails, and as an MMO when it fails it goes away unlike Animal Crossing and SDV. Things that hurt the overall health of the game are far more impactful here.

The only Concern I have about that is when the devs balance content to account for people making a morbillion gold. It happened before with making plushies from the maji festival mad expensive because people were making so much money from spamming cake parties when those were a thing

Most of the gameplay bugs though, when they finally fix them the player can go back to playing. An infinite money glitch, that player now has no more content to enjoy until something new is released and may in fact be able to power through that content as well depending on what they stockpiled. Which means progression remains "Broken" for them in a way that devs can't actually fix.

I think this is the major flaw of this game.

Star cotton is a weird one...it's worth more if you DON'T process it! As for donating star crops etc we COULD at the start but it was messy with star items changing to non-star etc so they blocked star gifts until they set up a system that retains the values properly. We should be able to gift star items soon 🙂
