You clear every large and medium tree in the statue garden, and you wait around 8 minutes per tree and the chance they turn into a flow tree, just comfortable and not overthought, you could do the idle location spot farming alongside it.

i've personally never tried giving citrine two days in a row, so it may be possible they accept it back to back. but with more "normal" items, i do know they don't like it back to back.

we're all trying to help you -- at the end of the day, you can try giving Zeki the citrine back to back and it'll work or it won't. That's part of the game

It says the same thing as the official wiki in other words. The listing for "any fish" is called "neutral" on palipedia but still gives you 10 friendship points, whereas only the weekly wants are described as likes and loves, but you can only give one of each of those per week for sure

The in-game feedback for friendship points received is two thumbs up no matter which of those categories the item falls into.

@light inlet Also according to palipedia, this week's loves are flow plank and dari cloves (aka not always, but specifically this week), and Zeki loves receiving citrines and boots every week (not just this week, but always)

Now, I don't know why it lists the boot? That might be a special interaction.

Edit: Palipedia lacks the information for the founder's boot quest. Perhaps this quest was added later? Anyway if you get the boot now you're prompted to return it to Kenli rather than giving it to any other villager.

It's like this for a scenario. You're on the shore of Nokomis and you hook a musky. The thing is fighting you for a good 12 minutes, and you get it just right there to the shore about 3 meters from you, you try to use the net, it dashes further, and the line gives further, it's out about 16 meters and back where you started, the dang thing jumps and spits your lure out. "Tosses the pole yells and curses the fish".

apparently we can place something on them through the camera mode, u'll need to bind a second key to the place button so u can actually place things while being in camera mode bcs normally left click would take pictures and with the 2nd key u should be able to place ur item, I've never tried it myself tho, should work for the bookshelf at least

The number of gifts you can give to a character is based on your friendship level with them

On PC if you go into settings > graphics > advanced and change field of view drop-down, then when you enter a new area it will be better applied; on switch I couldn't find that menu at all so try just exiting and reentering the area anyway

It could also be simply that there is something behind you

It exists, I catch them a lot, but most of the epic fish are hard. The Unicorn, the marlin, the void ray, and the giant goldfish, and I think there are a couple of others. Make sure you use the right bait at the right time of day in the right body of water, and patience.

Apparently the achievement reset bug is super complicated. They've been aware of and trying to figure it out for months.

Whatever's affecting achievements is probably a broader issue with how the game is tracking what you've collected, since people have also reported not being able to request things they know they have. So, yeah. Complex.

Yeah, and from what I understand, there's multiple versions of it too. For some, it's still keeping track behind the scenes, and will correct itself if you level up that session and show your actual level in whatever. But for others, it resets-resets.

Well I'm at the point of taking a leave from this game. I love Palia, I've been playing 5mos now. But I'm just at the end where there really isn't much for me to do now until they fix the Temple of the Gales quest 'Eye of the Storm' my quest is totally bugged. Can't give Zeki my fragment and the quest has been sitting there in my box for almost 4wks since Dec 8th, and yes I sent in a ticket to support with screenshots. It's so bad right now. So bad. I'm completely unable to play with my actual friends because we're in different countries. But then the majority of servers I'm in are full of Switch players that have a really hard time using the chat interface. So callouts go unanswered, server chat is mostly a ghost town, and the world is not as cozy as it used to be.

That's a honey lure! they attract tons of bugs (makes them all spawn in right near you). They're a lot of fun and can be used strategically when trying to get specific bugs. Crafting them is expensive as they require a gold bar, so most of us make the most of them by sharing it with as many people as we can 🙂

It's a bad system when cooking pulls ingredients (especially with the jumping UI). 300 is insufficient and I'm not sure why there can't just be an option to lock any stack we choose to in normal storage - I'd gladly give up that 300 extra space to be able to lock whatever I want to. 🙂

In fairness it might not be you! It used to be very easy to chase them down when they'd teleport because their movement was predictable. At the moment there seems to be a bug where their teleporting is erratic, sometimes teleporting a ridiculous number of times, teleporting in random directions etc. When they fix it you might find it easy to keep track of them solo.

Lots of reason for wanting name changes! Grown out of a name, like a dif name better, role play, just liking variety. Most places have it because most people like having the option and many use it!

Yes you can give a gift once every 24hrs cycle, timer resets at 9pm PST. You can only give weekly wants once a week, then you have to just give them something they accept.
