From what I remember in thier design philosophy, they didn't want to make anything that was earnable to have a purchasable option in the catagory with it, which is why clothes aren't earnable. I can respect that. You know all clothes are bought, but all furniture is earned.

You can give players plenty of creative freedom inside a fixed design system. You don't need to let them upload their own images. The game has loads of lovely patterns already.
I moderate for the biggest Animal Crossing server there is, and that's a game that lets players draw their own patterns. I've seen way too much hate speech to ever promote that idea as a good one. 💀

Honestly I feel that the decision to monetize cosmetics can be a highly successful one, BUT, the way they've gone about it is not good at all

But Jel doesn't. He's not "approved" yet so he can't take you. He's on his own and making his own decisions until he proves himself.||

I love the Switch version... Only one at job during Christmas, on guard or whatever, and I can still easily play as nothing is really going on.

If it had gyro controls for hunting it would be golden. But controls are still very good. In some respect better than on PC.

Plus you dont have to type password everytime you log in (meaning copy/pasting your unique XX symbols long unique password from password manager app). 😛

Does "Your Order is Served" actually require you to cook the food? I have two out of three in my inventory, both gained through public requests as I do not cook, but quest still shows 0/1 for all 3. The third one seems impossible to get anyway, hours and hours of requests produced nothing. 😉

This is entirely a server segregation issue. It didn't use to be like this and we're hoping they will make it easier to switch over to another server outside our region in the future. The only temporary fix is to make friends on your own server.

I was pretty much playing solo and responding to call outs until I got put on the AP server. Had to come in here and start a whole community.

that is a common issue, thats why I play on US servers in every MMO even if English is not my primary language; better to deal with latency than 20 languages at Euro servers 😉

I find EU to be more friendly too, people call groves out even if it's just 4 trees, but I only experienced late night times on US so it might be why

I have no idea about that. I didnt really need flow trees or palium for weeks now, definitely not since the EU servers were launched. And on the original servers, most of the folks were friendly and polite.

In NA people call out groves too. A lot of calling out.

Occasionally there will be someone who has no patience and starts chopping or hitting palium right away or someone gets made they didn't get to a Grove on time.

I like Palia, I like seeing people out in the field doing their thing, I like having my friends on the map and being able to just randomly see them out and about but I hate having to share spawns. Most of my friends have stopped playing now because they can't get what they need, and I honestly am at the point of rage quitting almost every time because I'm just blocked by materials that I can't get because even if people call out, there's so many people that need them that the rock doesn't even have enough hits in it.

@granite stirrup My mindset is simply doing only what I like to do - bit of hunting, gathering, I love gardening (lvl 29). I did some furniture but Im done with that, I like the house as it is and the higher level furniture doesnt go well with me, its not my style.

Sadly devs decided they will gate some main content behind specific crafting skills which means I cannot progress. But thats life. Plus they will eventually conclude this was a bad idea and will change it. 😉

with same trick of lower graphic detail to the lowest and raise effect to maximum you can easily see them
