I can, however, suggest going out and chopping trees and selling the wood and fiber at Zeki's for quick carrot-seed buying -- it goes surprisingly quickly and then you can get carrot seeds (either from Zeki's store or from Badruu's, I don't recall which offhand)

Lighthouse in Bahari Bay is honestly one of the best ways. You start from the top, then work your way down the spiral. Once you reach the bottom you use the geyser to launch yourself back to the top. Wait for them to turn into Flow and call out for help chopping them down.

I find other people who're interested and go flow farming. Pick an area of the map with a lot of trees (the forest by Tamala's is a popular choice) and go chop every tree down that you all see. As they respawn, there's a percentage chance that any tree will be a flow tree -- and while it takes 15-20 minutes for it to really start going, if everyone's chopping, you'll start seeing 5-6 flow trees popping up every few minutes -- everyone stop briefly, all go chop the trees, then return to chopping down the reg wood.

That's fine if you only want 6-8 trees per hour, but if you want 20+ per hour, flow farming is the way to go.

At midnight/12 PM flow groves spawn in Bahari Bay, where you can find 3-9 flow trees in one spot. People usually call them out and a majority of the server comes there to all get "taps" in onto those trees. When they spawn they make a rather loud noise, you can use that sound to pinpoint their location.

You can always ask in Discord, either in a channel or in https://discord.com/channels/809856101326913567/1143270926394335282 -- but asking in game is often good too, and I've found that if I just start chopping and flow starts to spawn, I can often get people to join me. Biggest group I've chopped with so far was 18 people.

My favorite is at Bahari Stables, which had about 18 Flow Trees at one time. The other day we got up to 13 Flow Trees and then the Grove had spawned. So 13 + the 2 from the grove, 15 total. ( the lighthouse is honestly really fun )

When a flow grove spawns, there'll be a loud sound, usually from a particular direction - head in that direction and look for a cluster of glowing trees. (Sometimes I find it tricky to identify the direction but if I get up high I can see it.)

For uncommons, using a honey lure in the right area for that bug type is usually the easiest method. Otherwise, it's a lot of wandering the area to find one (eventually). I do find that the more bugs I catch, the more bugs spawn (just like flow trees/chopping or ore nodes/mining), so if you have a boatload of bug bombs on you, you can just catch everything in an area and make more bugs spawn.

I just looked up what rarity a few have... The ||Bahari Glowbug (rare)|| and the ||Spineshell Crab (uncommon)|| should be easy to find... The latter is ||easy to see around the Bahari Bay beaches, the former in the forests too due to its bright green glow at night||.

Yes, generally. Most of the NPCs are not out to get you. There are a couple of NPCs who have very suspicious-sounding plotlines, and you'll need to make a judgment call, however - I can't say more without giving away lore 😄

Sorry, I missed your earlier question - I don't honestly know the answer to that because I didn't answer the questions wrong, so I don't know if it has any impact at all. Generally speaking, most questions don't have a huge impact on the main plotlines of the game (including the temple) -- so I can't imagine this being an issue. ||But if you're looking for the bugs, they are catchable in the temple - answering questions shouldn't stop you from being able to catch them!||

The quest starts with a letter, not with the chests -- and it has prerequisite quests that must be completed. Finish "Prove Your Devotion", "Prove Your Purpose", and "Prove Your Generosity" first, and you should get mail that starts the holiday quests for you.

It was one account per profile, but one island per Switch -- I wasn't even thinking in terms of the island itself. With Palia, it's one account per profile, but it's the same game you're playing on PC with everyone else, so it basically is the same - still one account per profile though. (You still can't share your home with another player and pool resources, alas.)

If you finished all parts of the bundle, you should have gotten the nest -- but if you didn't get the nest, you're experiencing a common bug right now. Submit a bug report to https://support.palia.com/ and let them know you didn't get the nest after completing the full bundle set.

It is and it isn't. Yes, I've seen bots in the game -- but in my experience they're pretty easy to identify. For instance, someone who is literally next to water casting-reeling-casting-reeling with no pause and no attempt to catch fish, just whizz whizz whizz with the fishing pole for long periods of time. (There's a way to save your worms that is cast, wait for a fish to pop up, reel if you want it or let it drop off the reel and wait for it to go away and then reel back to recast -- but that takes longer.)

Remember, bots usually aren't people -- they're some sort of external software cheating the system in some way. It doesn't do much for the person using it on Palia - I mean, the bot can only catch until the inventory fills up and then it'll be standing there reeling until the operator comes back, and it's not going to do a lot 😄

You get benefits from fishing near other people and the pools stick around for a certain amount of time if i'm not mistaken, so there's definitely nothing stopping you from fishing to your hearts content

That shouldn't be a problem - two people can fish right next to each other and neither one can catch the other player's fish. Two people can throw a bug bomb at the same bug and both will get it. Two people can shoot at a sernuk and both will get the loot.

The point is that they're shared -- so if for some reason everyone on a given server all decided that they were going hunting all at once, everyone could hunt the same critters. The dropped bag you see is yours -- other players will see their own loot drops.

yes, the change would be more honestly described as replacign all the palium spawn points with iron. There are palium nodes scattered among the irons spawns, but not many, I've been doing test runs, and getting very few palium ores for the amount of mining I do. (e.g. 360 stones collected for 16 pal ores)

The thing is palium nodes had a variabe spawn rate that responded to player activity. Iron nodes were always static. (When the Starstones released I suddenly couldn't find iron in my old routes.) Now they are both static. If someone gets there ahead of you, tough luck. So there are a handful of reports "fine for me" while most are struggling.

I'm fine with my Pal stash, but 💀 for nebies who need to upgrade tools, build furniture for the first time, etc.

Gold ore spawns from iron nodes and silver ore from copper.

Sadly since they nuked the palium spawn rate everything should be mined to encourage it to spawn, if you don't hit all the nodes you see or run past, it's never going to show up

Not particularly, at least not if you want anything with a reasonably quick response time. But I do think the slow mode does help to get people considering exactly how they're going to respond, on the downside, it does increase the amount of posts as essays just to get a point across.

It is a live service game so will continue to grow as long as the servers are up.

Yup! It’s in the works to have multiple new maps unlocked over time. We have to do some lore stuff first before that though

The dev team considers the game in Beta and claims it’ll be an evolving world. Afaik they have every intent to add more; and some in game dialogue suggests some possibilities.

You’ll need to finish the temple of gales and complete the related bundles; but receiving the nest is bugged rn (idk if it’s effecting everyone but I’ve seen many who don’t get that final reward)
