It's really a weak hint and isn't hugely different from the hint we got in the temple of flames -- I don't think you need to rush to do the temple. I can say they did a speedy hotfix that bumped everyone offline yesterday that resolved most of the climbing issues in the temple, but if you wanna wait for switch, go for it, no rush

Just went to report the palium spawn rate (I meant to do that anyway) and did not experience any issues submitting a ticket on the Palia website.

I -suspect-, but cannot confirm, that people just aren't mining the regular rocks. Those used to spawn where iron spawned too, and if all there are is regular rocks and people are only mining palium/iron, eventually all there'll be is regular rock.

The best thing I can suggest is to mine every single node you see -- because iron spawns where regular rocks spawn, so now all three spawn in the same places. Mine all the rocks, things will respawn; mine only the iron and you are missing all the regular rocks that could be palium next time.

Yeah, that's why I actually stopped calling out palium previously -- when they bumped up the spawn rate in the old spots, it was faster for people to wait for it to respawn than it was for me to call it out and wait for people to get there and then get chewed out because one person didn't get a hit.

The one thing to know about crossplatform play, if you want to play on both PC and Switch: if you want to play the same account on both, you MUST bind your Palia account to your Switch profile the very first time you open the game on that profile - you cannot do it retroactively. (But you can bind it to a different profile on your Switch if you screw it up the first time.)

On the same token, I tend to sell off heartwood after running it through my lumber mill. A stack of heartwood alone is worth 100 gold, but a stack run through the lumber mill and turned to lumber is 200. And really, what use do I have for the mill otherwise?

I have the phoenix firework recipe. It did, in fact, use flint (I think) - I can't remember now. But originally when it was released it made fireworks in stacks of 20, now it makes them one firework at a time, and it requires really expensive stuff -- no longer worth making 'em.

Even though it's probably a very long list, check the all-items list slowly to 100% confirm they're not in there. If they're not, you may need to wait on a fix from the support ticket -- you probably got the autoresponder message but they may not actually have "responded" with a live response yet.

I do not believe it's "required", but if you want the Switch release perks for linking your account, you'll need to have the account before you open the game on the Switch the first time. In the end, it's your choice -- just remember that if you don't have a Palia account to link when you start the Switch game, you may lose the ability to play cross-platform -- you may be stuck permanently on Switch with that game, as you have to link the Switch game to a specific Nintendo profile. So you may not be able to play on PC later and you lose the bonus gifts. If that's okay by you, I don't think you'll have an issue!

One thing that they did say (and I'm trying to find that right now again) is that you can have one account -per Switch profile-. So for a family who shares their Switch and has multiple players, they can each have a profile with their own account. Because of that, there's likely limitations the same way there are on one account per email address -- you have to have something for that account to be tied to for communication. I don't know if it makes a Palia account or not if you don't link, though; I'm not sure anyone but S6 knows that yet.

||10 eggs is the minimum to proceed in the quest and not have Zeki get stuck at the end island where you can't turn in the 10-egg quest. After you complete 10 eggs, you can go to generator island, have him move over there, finish the rest of the temple/his treasures, and then all three chars will move back next to the nest so you can do the other 5 eggs. But if you go to the generator island and open the flow portal, Zeki moves there, and you can no longer get the fan to turn on -- which means you have to wait for dev help.||

So it -is- possible, but only if you don't glitch on the 10-egg part.||

It's a weird glitch right now with both the cooking stations and with the workbench -- close and reopen the cooking station. It sometimes takes a couple of times to reset it. Failing that, close/reopen the game, that definitely fixes it for most people.

i only know about a visual bug i had where the recipe wouldnt show all the ingredients you needed. maybe you started the cooking falsely believing you had all?

That's usually what's doing it, yeah -- it's not showing every single item needed for crafting. Unfortunately when cooking, it does mean you usually fail the recipe. For the workbench, it just won't let you craft it (which would be preferable for the cooking station with this glitch too).

also sometimes the cooking roll minigame won't work, whether its up or down it will always "fail", gotta f or left-click out of it and restart that one

You have to complete his level 4 friendship quest before he "knows" you well enough. It can take a bit for that quest to come but it's usually within 24 RL hours. (More specifically, it's usually after the next RL day reset -- which is 8pm Pacific time.)

Don't panic, the option comes back right after his level 4 quest is done. You get the "ask someone to be your shepp" quest early on, and if you ask early, they say they don't know you well enough yet and the quest disappears 'til you finish the level 4 friendship quest, and then suddenly the option's back.

Not really, no. A few villagers will comment if you're -wearing- someone's pin. But if you're not wearing someone's pin, they won't even notice or care. I'm romancing every character in the game right now, but I only have one pin on and you can wear 2 at a time.

Additionally: you can romance as many or as few as you want; romance gives you romance quests, and I'm a quest completionist, so I want all the quests, but if you just want to stick with one or two that's fine too.
