interesting! i didn’t know that. i wonder if horses for mobility would be achievable (causing lag possibly?) or if it would get more in the way than anything. i would think that you wouldn’t be able to bring them in the mines, and i do wonder how it would work with climbing since we get around the map a lot through climbing. maybe the way ddv went with mobility would be more realistic. i however do not like how you have to have a full energy bar of food to have to use it, pretty annoying lol

Ashura is an enigma in a way. Here is this mountain of a man, strong, thoughtful, dependable, insightful, but when it comes to his own grief he seems lost and unable to move forward. From dialog it seems her passing was quite a while ago. I'm not heartless, i've had loss. I get that everyone reacts differently. Just seems that her passing is the only real topic for him when he could have SO much more to say. Don't you think? :)

I like Ashura but I also like the reality that he’s still dealing with the grief of his wife (this sounds weird to say, but i think it’s good writing tbh) so i’m okay with no romance for Ashura. I want him to keep healing

I think the issue with him only talking about his dead wife is just the issue of scarce dialogue that you run into once you’re lvl 4 with them. I am also tired of Einar always talking about sernuks gathering next to food sources. But she passed like two or three years ago? And after all he is old and at this age I would assume it’s way harder to move in, considering he opened the inn with her around 40 years ago and we don’t know how long they’re been together before that

I look at it more as reminiscing. He still goes on about his every day life, helping out the villagers and even treating Reth like his own son. Now I’ve maxed on him and everyone else, so I’m pretty familiar with is dialogue, ||and I feel like once he fixes the relationship with his actual son he’ll feel a lot better.|| But there’s many people who don’t really “move on” after losing their life partner. Like Ashura, some take a part of their day to grieve and reminisce before going back to their everyday life. So to me it just seems, normal.

@ the developers: If you really want release the game at the 24th, it will become a really big fail if you don't bring a BIG patch for all the buggs and the balancing (for example: you need some times 13 bombs for ONE bug).
Imo it's unpublishable at this condition as a finished game.

focus is an exp bonus. ||Phoenix shrine for percentage and Dragon shrine for actual level.|| Your player level is your skills. So it can be anything from 1 to well over 300 for one. My total player level is 289 currently.

My only head scratcher is why only epic? I can only imagine there's some extra red tape, or verification process, or microtransaction percentage cut that's holding back a steam release. I wish they would say why tho in their FAQ. There's been a lot of feeling burned by developers releasing on epic exclusively that the notion inherently leaves a bad taste when you see it.

Because Epic pays for exclusivity for about a year or more depending on the deal, then it could be potentially released on Steam. The money is why they are releasing on Epic first, no doubt. They are having a hard time finacially, which they really shouldnt considering what they raked in on crowd funding and cash shop so far. You can tell theres not much structure going on with the group as patches really off the mark at times. I will give them credit to some degree, while tearing portions of the game apart they have did some little good when it comes to some smaller content, But it just doesnt seem enough to me, (whoever is responsible for design, modeling, artists, etc for the maps in this game should get their resume ready, cause they are some of the best maps I have ever played on or seen!). . But we will see, maybe this is the financial shot in the arm they need to get the game finished or waste it, Balls in their court now that they have even more financial backing. Im hoping for glory here, but right now, Im not seeing it.

Dont get me wrong, Im assuming too, But when you first release a game on Epic, its just a fact its for the money. Thats how Epic works! Youc an argue that point, but Steam gives far more exposure than Epic does, so you know its got to do with the money. And frankly, Im fine with that, if it helps the game get back on track and we start seeing new areas and bigger, better content and less buggy patches of tiny content that doesnt really mean much. I get it, they are releasing something here and I pat them on the back for that, but its been how long now and no new area released, just filler? Like I said, I hope this shot in the arm really helps and they get it together cause thuis could very well be the coziest game of all time if they dont drop the ball! I'm pretty sure I've given Einar all the pebbles, but still not gained the achievement and I've seen a few different things being said online, some saying you only have to give him 8 out of the 10 pebbles, others saying the orange pebble no longer exists in the game and so you only have to give him 9, and some saying that you still have to give him the 10 pebbles

From my experience, I was able to resume the download progress when I closed and re-opened the Palia launcher so I think it's okay to close it.
