As far as I can tell, nobody has gotten them yet -- but I could be wrong. I'm also not certain who they believe is affected by the bug but it's likely to be people who started having issues after the patch that released the fire temple and now.

I'm a strict controller user on PC but Palia on keyboard has not bothered me. The best thing I did for myself was set one of my extra mouse buttons to interact instead of F.

The run around is the only way. You could do this now. Go and check every hotspot to get in on all the quality types.
Go into Zeki's Underground and hop out the backdoor and be right infront of Kilima Lake again.
Or just use the backdoor to server hop instead.

That is the achievements bug, one that's been known about for two patches. Rolling back this patch will not fix it. They are actively working on that bug, and said they're hoping to have a fix soonish, but that it's not likely to be in this next patch.

I agree with that, but not all problems can be caught in that process specially when the dev team is still figuring out a way to do it properly as they move closer to a proper release. People are expecting final release quality for a software that is not yet ready.
They are also correcting a lot of bugs with every patch, but they cant do it all at once.
Even games like WoW have things like PTR where they launch there first for players who signs for it. Palia don't have a final release version though so we can't really expect that the game be 100% stable in these kinds of early releases.
People just need to calm down and stop blaming the devs who are working hard

The cursor thing: if you can't turn your head, pull out a tool and then put it away. If that does not fix it, hold down left mouse button to look around and go to the nearest zone exit to switch servers, that will fix it.

I understand that, but they also had a similar issue with the fire bundle giving its reward out early. This is an issue that I believe the devs are trying to fix, but it's also not gamebreaking -- you still have to finish the Beach Bundle to get the rewards for that bundle's completion even if you get the Ancient Fish a little early.

For most people, being patient seems to be the method that works. A few people have uninstalled/reinstalled and that's also an option -- but I'd leave that to the option of last resort if you don't see movement after an hour or so.

Instead of restarting next time, try pulling out a tool and then putting it away. That should fix it. If it does not fix it, hold down your left mouse button to look around and go to the nearest zone exit - changing servers will generally fix it.

Well, yes and no. There's nothing to "win" at the end; only chests or some sort of letters along the way. And this is the open beta period; they tested it in their closed servers, but some things don't break until they're in the live game. The patch just came out today, they'll fix it 🙂

Part of beta testing is finding the bugs. Some players (including you) have found the bugs. Other players have not found the bugs. The team's aware that bug exists, but they are not going to do another patch today to remove something -- it might get fixed in a hotfix, we'll see.

It basically is. To be fair, you don't move as quickly and as wildly/erratically as in that game (esp because you can toggle between running/jogging/walking in the course), but it is like it in the sense that it's a long way up and a long way down. One mess up and everything is gone.

Everything we're given just feels like a half assed effort, though.

They're listening to some things, I will give them credit. But a lot of these things they're repeatedly making mistakes and then backpedaling because they didn't listen to what we were actually asking for.

The absolute half assed crafting "sorting" they added proved that. The "showing requests when people send them" then yanking it out instead of just having it be its own channel proved that.
