And the issue isn't that we can't do them anymore, obviously they will be available. The issue is that if they are nerfed too hard it won't be worth the time and resources, and people just won't do them anymore. Today ifI want to go chat and hang eout and bake cakes, it's readily available. Nerfed too hard and it won't be. People won't bother with it and there goes that enjoyment. They REALLY need to tell people the nerf in advance so people aren't scrambling around and upset when it could be one that isn't significant enough to warrant being upset. But we have 0 idea.

Cake parties aren't going away. You can still have cooking parties for things other than cake too, with your friends and community. They're not the only way to buy things, they're the fastest though no contest.

I think there is a misconception here on how dev work is done in a groups. You aren't having X instead of Y, you are having X and Y. With X or Y first.

The labor gets given to different people with different skill sets. Just because Frank knows how to code doesn't mean he can "fix the economy" with code.

There is definitely a problem with the "balance" of the servers. Seems that coding/configurations are not the same across them. I can be on one server and my Ranch House Fountains don't have water in them. I can walk out of the homestead and walk back in on a different server, and they do. Same with the grass in the tents. Sometimes it's really thick and long, other times it's minimal.

You get 20 at a time, so that's 5 crafts. So 5 iron bars.

That's only 25 iron ore. (+25 heartwood planks, but that is like 3 trees)

You can harvest 25 iron ore and 3-4 trees in under 10 minutes. Probably more like 15 if you don't know the quick walking routes.

Worst part of hunting was crafting arrows, time wise. And that has been fixed.

If you follow the lake shore from the lagoon down to the docks (near the farm), there's a big open field that generally has them too! Where clay spawns on the shore, they also hang out there as well. Good luck!

if anyone’s played wizard101 before, i thinks system like their bazaar could work well. players sell unwanted items to a marketplace wholly operated by an in-game system. the stock of goods available for purchase at this vendor reflects the goods sold by players, but prices are fixed (scaling with current available quantity) and cannot be manipulated by players whatsoever. i think this would be a good way to offload items, make them available for other players, and make it relatively exploitation-free. *players are also paid for their items immediately upon selling them, so there’s no waiting period to see if anyone ever buys your stuff

so far, no. but that may be due to the fact that the furthest that story thread goes currently is the ceremony with you and your shepp. so, there could be more to come, but if it had any drastic changes in terms of what one villager does or gives in contrast to another i'd be super surprised. at most it migtht be different dialogue if there's some part where we need to talk with our shepp or they help us with something.
