Copper are slow-downs? They make it run away more slowly. I've found when hitting "multi hit" (I believe you mean Elder, and not magical white/blue?), I find it takes 4-5 slow-downs, but only 3 Fine Arrows

Character customization goes a shockingly long way for player retention. While I am fine with the options more free options would help people “connect” with their characters and be more reluctant to leave the game. While it is a very dry response, player retention is what all devs need.

If you think about it, any games have their “free” options limited. The game is free to play, they’re going to have to make money somehow. In the sims, there are limited options as well. You have to purchase an expansion pack to get new clothes. In fortnite, there’s default skins to use that are limited but you need to purchase others if you want more. They give us about 10-20 options of both pants and shirts for free. I don’t see why them asking for money for different clothing seems to be such a big issue

But the thing is that having a thousand people log into the game, all with different systems with different capacities, puts stresses on the game that you can't test in house. That's the point of beta testing, is to find bugs like this.

I think your points are just fine and well made I must say, one thing I'm not entirely sure of is how to reconcile this with the thought of how new features possibly offer more for audience growth vs. bugfixing (non hyper critical stuff) that possibly offers more retention, it's not immediately obvious which would benefit a company in the long run - especially if they believe they can get the best of both worlds, then that certainly would - which granted hasn't been successful recently - it's a tough decision to make I think!

If nobody else is breaking rocks in an area, it can take a while - 15-20 min range. If a lot of people are breaking rocks in the vicinity, it seems to spawn faster in the same way that flow trees seem to spawn faster.

the more nodes, trees etc you smack down, the higher the chance you encounter what you desire. Once a FLOW or a pallium goes down, it respawns another one around instantly. So if you farming FLOW, go to lighthouse with a small team, smack down everything you can, and you'll get over 100 an hour easy

If I see regular stone\iron nodes in places where pallium spawns but see that their are empty patches where it’s obvious someone just came for the pallium, I’ll usually send a kind PSA out to the server that pallium can’t spawn unless the non-pallium nodes in their place have been mined down. It can be frustrating and I’ve experienced it a couple times. I tend to just try out a new server. I can’t get on to other people for something I also do from time to time as well. Sometimes I’m on a time crunch and don’t really have the extra time to wait for someone coming from across the map aha.

I also no longer go to call outs unless I’m somewhat nearby for that reason too. I’ve experienced where others waiting get impatient and just break it or cut down the tree before I get there.
