Guys I figured out why the update is taking a while
Turns out the order caught wind of Reths "deeds" and have invaded Kilima. Their sudden invasion has wreaked havoc on the village and Reth had to go into hiding. The devs are currently holding a meeting with the order to convince them the infomation was false and encourage the order to leave Kilima. The devs are hard at work trying to restore peace to Kilima and the world of Palia. Moment of silence for their dedication and bravery

Caffeine ran dry, hands trembling so bad I must use my voice assistant to aid my comment. I look at the computer I see Palia. I close my eyes, I see Palia. I look at my cat I see my Sandy Palcat. I can't help think I left my oven on, on my plot. What was the last thing I cooked? Fish Stew? Trout Dinner? Oh no, I never did put the campfire out from my grilled meat. The smoke just over the mountains troubles my mind, is it my newly expanded house I just added the hallway and small room too? I wont be able to reach it in time, due to the Update Wall that's blocking my path. I lost half of my twitch followers today, I was at 6, now sitting at 3. Desperately logging in every 60 seconds, to see the horrific Servers Down message. My voice is fading from lack of energy drinks. Or maybe too many. I'll update my journal after my Uber Delivery gets here.

It happens. There are a lot of working parts and if one line of code breaks, it can destroy the whole game. Be patient. Crashing every 10s or infinitely bugged quests is worse than a patch taking longer than intended. This is a major content patch, not a small hot fix. Some Things were bound to go sideways.

Even cats need occassional help keeping clean. my boy is super long haired, and easily matts, so usually the bath is to remove uhm, lets just say debris, from the tail end of his body 🤣 Every once in awhile he's super greasy [ i have kids, poor kitty] so gets a bath if he cant manage it himself, but today, he needed some hydration. his skin was dry and flakey, and he also had who knows what in various areas bc sticky hands wont stop touching everything 🙄 so he got a bath with hydrating shampoo to help with both

omg thank you . i absolutely love my job but it is definitely tough and burnout is scary and real especially in the vet field but currently wearing some big bruises on my upper arms and a werewolf lookin' scratch on my collarbone from a poor pup that was Very Extremely Scared and wanted to fly off of the table - needless to say, but if /when they come back they will be on "Chill Protocol" aka pre-visit anxiety meds.

omg thank you . i absolutely love my job but it is definitely tough and burnout ...
I try my best to give my kids and animal[s] the best I can, including species appropriate bathing and food. I think my 4yo is some sort of monkey/goat hybrid, figuring out her species appropriate diet is easy, she eats almost everything. my 7yo on the other hand, seems to be a shapeshifter, he either eats the same thing for days or refuses to eat the thing he loved 3 hours before.
Ive had animals most of my life and ive learned very few pets need baths as often as people think. I've also learned that cats can be trained, bathed, and disciplined, also despite what people think. My boy can and will sit to get his dinner [taught to try to avoid wet food head mats lmfao]
Also, thanks for your dedication to our non human family members. Its hard and soemtimes unrewarding, as all medical professions are, but i think vets and their staff can have it worse becaus epeople just dont udnerstand that fido is not the same as sally or john
