Hello, everybody. Today I will be officially releasing a mod which has been around for a while, but now the last of the major bugs have been fixed. The mod is called HUDCaching, and is an optimization mod which limits the framerate of your HUD (hotbar, scoreboard, etc.) to 20. This leaves the game with more time to spend rendering the world around you, with (almost) no downsides.

This mod can provide EXTREME fps boosts alongside skyblock mods like SBA, NEU, DSM, etc, since these mods often render a lot of things on your screen. The FPS boost you gain from this mod will depend heavily on your computer and other mods. For me, it "only" increases FPS by about 10%, but others have reported their FPS increasing by 50% or doubling on weaker machines. However, for you it might not do anything. Do your own testing and don't complain if this mod doesn't help.

If you or a friend are having trouble running skyblock mods, I would highly recommend giving this mod a shot

While this mod is useful, it is not all powerful and should not be used as an alternative to Optifine/Patcher. I would highly recommend trying both of those to start.

Note: This mod requires you to disable Optifine fast render (Video > Performance > Fast Render)
