I'm learning Spanish at the moment and just getting started with German, too. I'm planning on moving to Germany at some point in the future so I'm trying to get to at least a conversational level. As for Spanish, that's just for fun.

I'm finding German to be much easier than Spanish just because the syntax and structure so far are so similar to English.
