You make believe it's not random, but it is random.

how is a pattran random.

random is something that can be pridected while pattran follows a certin order which is pridecatable.

Just because you decide in this process does not mean that you have changed the randomness. Again, the process continues in the same way.

what I'm saying is that, it might be impossible to bypass such system.

stark meteor

@thorny steeple so if that's not possible is there any alternative idea

thorny steeple
#

yes, they are not so effective, especially when the system gets your geolocation based on the GPS and WIFI triangulation combined. some systems would also be able to detect and monitor location anomalies, so they are pretty secure.

#

it doesn't, if they do not match, then most certainly the device is using a location-spoofer or similar software to distort the location signals or to alter them.

#

in which case it doesn't go by any location, it would just mark you as absent or throw an alert.

#

I don't know about it honestly.

#

I tried to implement a web app with a location-based attendance system, but I suspended the project for the time being, due to college.

craggy sphinx
thorny steeple
#

Hey guys

craggy sphinx
thorny steeple
#

What's the topic?

craggy sphinx
#

I think I should have defined these concepts right away

deep loom
# craggy sphinx hello What does "intelligent" mean to you?

Hi.
Tbh, idek how to define it.

But to consider a person as intelligent, I look for these things.

Like that person has to be a deep thinker, going to the core of everything, like for example something happened, the person would be like, why it happened, how it happened, why not something else couldn't have happened, and more and more spiral thinking.

And also the person has to be an orginal thinker, having orginal opinions (for example most of my opinions are not orginal, I just follow with whatever I'm convinced with.)
But intelligent people seem to have original and innovative thinking patterns.

And they are born that way innately (for example I don't think, now I'm trying to learn how to think, so I'm trying to acquire it, but intelligent people are mostly kinda born with it, they didn't learn how to think but just have it in them.)

They seem different, like their opinions/thinking processes seems very different from ordinary, when I listen to some intelligent, I'll be like, Wow, what a thought, how did they even get that! It's like they get peculiar ways of solutions which are not usually ordinary.

And more... I can't really definitely intelligence/intelligent persons but I think I can recognise them, idek how. I've met few of them, they just seem way out of my league to even understand, predict or classify them.

formal scaffold
# craggy sphinx I think I should have defined these concepts right away

if you are asking to me I'd have to say the brain capacity to store information, how fast it can reuse them, the ability to absorb information using yr 5 senses, the ability to solve issues relatively to what resources you have, the ability to analyse your surrounding including yourself

craggy sphinx

Reception: signalling a reaction to stimuli
Sensation: simulation of receptions
Memorisation: encoding of sensation into a memory
Remembrance: decoding of a memory into sensation
Perception: association of sensations
Association: identifying and thereby relating memories
Conceptualisation: consolidation of associations

Awareness: understanding of experiences

Thoughts: self-communication of ideas

# deep loom Hi. Tbh, idek how to define it. But to consider a person as intelligent, I look...

No matter how smart you are, you will not stop making mistakes

reading a lot of books will not make you smart if you do it for no reason. If you want to understand well, you should understand this understanding.

Thinking critically is useful because it generates new connections and improved ideas. You can develop this, for example, by playing mind games, participating in discussions.

An important condition for this is your ability to communicate, rather than rhetoric. otherwise you won't learn anything new and will make the same mistakes, wasting your time

deep loom
formal scaffold
#

althought it's selective

deep loom
craggy sphinx
deep loom
craggy sphinx
deep loom
# craggy sphinx I don't think reading books will help you with this

Reading might give you information and knowledge and make you aware and copy the strategies which you've read.

But like how you said critical thinking is more useful as with time that critical thinking might pave path to original thinking, which is what I love.

But practicing both of these would be more beneficial I guess (reading + training to think.)

yeah if you reading lots of book for sometime and for no reason will not make you smart, but what happend when you have read over 10,000 books, do you think someone who has read over 10,000 book will be the same as he was when he first started reading, i think he will not.

let me give you another example.
if a perosn goes to the gym for 1 weak. the difference will be barely noticiable, or he may not even notice the difference at all. but what happend when he did the same thing for over 10 so years, do you think he will look the same as he did when he first started. i think answer id "no".

what you saiying isnt wrong, but what im saying is that if something is done for long enough time frame. even without purpose. you will gradually get better at it. it goes with attaning wisdom, getting good physical body, mastering any skill. etc etc.

humans are capable of learning, so they can notice certain patterns, certain behaviors or relations between things, and then use that to their advantage in a better way, no matter if its reading or programming or math or languages, with enough practice most people can get good at hard things as well, it just sometimes will take a long time for some people, longer than for others, which doesnt make that impossible, they can change too, so i agree

repeating the same thing can also be bad, for example, if it concerns practice

you can repeat this many times, it will become a habit. Habit in this case is bad because you are not developing

this is stagnation, you are repeating the same movements over and over again , making the same mistakes there is no benefit from it.

To prevent this from happening, you need to ask questions.

# thorny steeple Hello, guys and girls! How do you think about goalkeeper Oliver Kahn which saved...

Are you asking whether it was right or wrong for the goalkeeper to save every goal? Personally, I would've let a few go (probably by pretending to fall over or something lol), but I would've saved most, because kids must learn to lose. Very important. We all need to learn that not everything will go our way — in-fact, most things won't. I wouldn't be counting. I don't think you can just whittle this down to numbers. If there were a lot of kids and they could all watch the kicks, then I wouldn't allow a few kicks to succeed for each child, as they all would've seen the successes, and the losses. The learning experience and the fun would've been important for all of them, even if only as an observer.

thorny steeple
# thorny steeple Are you asking whether it was right or wrong for the goalkeeper to save every go...

Good notice! I know one man from exUSSR which immigrate to USA yet in last century, and he told histories about situations when parents grow up their children in extra-super care, and not allow any losing in any type completions. And then such kids get many problem in adult society.

Although this histories smell of lies, by unknowledge reason some past soviet citizens love create cock-and-bull story in conversation with their past compatriot.

A 71-year-old former Israeli police officer was filmed threatening a Palestinian family with a machete on a road in Israel. The man claimed he thought he was ‘confronting a terrorist’ and was subsequently detained and remanded until Thursday.

Storing weapons near civilian sites, including hospitals, is part of Hamas’s doctrine. A NATO report examining Hamas activities between 2008 and 2014 found that they fire “rockets, artillery, and mortars from or in proximity to heavily populated civilian areas, often from or near facilities which should be protected.” Journalists from numerous media outlets, including the Financial Times, provided eyewitness testimony of rockets launched from near hospitals.

Benevolent by their own standards, perhaps. I find the entire thing quite detestable. It particularly irks me that America seems to want to be involved in this conflict as well. I do not think we will see anything but Gaza in a history book as well, because I'm sure that Israel would prefer to escalate this war in whichever way benefits them most. I'm much more frustrated by how complicated it all is, and it mostly ends in the deaths of countless innocents through the naivety of a self-destructive terrorist organization (who I suspect have less simple connections), through which there is little that can justifiably be done.

it's not about Hamas, it's about the civilians, your reasoning is flawed.
even if they allegedly store ammunition in these facilities, you're still prohibited from attacking these facilities, the international law distinguishes between military objectives and civilian objects, schools and hospitals are considered civilian objects, there is no reason in the world that could possibly justify the massacre of innocent civilians, especially the ones who are sick and require medical care and assistance, let alone bombing the whole facility that provides such humane services.
