I don't even get YouTube recommendations. I use an extension called Unhook to keep the interface clean. I don't use the official Android app either because I think it's 🗑️. you don't need to backup data files for your DB installed on host machine , typically the database docker images (like mariaDB or postgreSQL) allow users to set up volumes -- a file mapping mechanism across containers -- which is useful for database storage files that persist your real application data . a lot of detail here , maybe you can go to docker official document site asking the AI bot there (for docker relevant knowledge) ,

My thought so far about docker (I never used it previously until recently) is that it is unlikely to break your whole system if you carefully configure the volumes / paths .

I'm not a windows user, but I guess the problem will be either with hardware or software, in case of th e hardware, check that there is an Intel device in the network adapters section. or check that the card is properly seated in its slot. otherwise its' probably something related to drivers, so just check the windows update, if this doesn't work check the Intel download center.

Yes, from the error, it appears there is no hardware. The driver installer cannot install drivers if it does not exist on your computer. It could be a poorly written insataller script, or you literally dont have the hardware, or the card is not installed correctly, or you are not logged in with an Admin level account, or you are using a virtual machine.

You may have selected options in the install that you should untick.

I used t3 medium for a medium streaming I would say(was enough), you can consider using t3 large for a much better performance, also consider using ffmpeg to convert rtsp to a webrtc stream

Did you try it yet? I think the future could be grim. If YouTube ever decided to allow only logged in users to watch videos, then aside from using a VPN or Tor, I don't think there'd be many alternatives. But your ISP can still see when you're using a VPN and might just throttle your connection anyway.

yes, ffmpeg is generally the better choice. I would use openvc onyl if I need to perform real-time image processing or computer vision tasks, and even then I will use openvc in conjunction with ffmpeg (ffmpeg to handle the rstp stream and pass the frames to openvc for processing..)

there's no way to tell if we'll have the type of ai that will actually replace programmers (hopefully it doesn't happen). Best thing is to study that if you actually enjoy programming, just like the modern day painter who paints because they enjoy painting. You can be sure though, that a lot of people are having similar thoughts to yours, so by choosing to pursue programming you might be one of the few future humans that have the skill set of an actual programmer (therefore potentially more valuable to the market)

Try and move up a level to system design. Forget the programming. It will be gone in 3 years. But companies will still need someone to gather the requirements for systems and put together the design documentation. But even this will be closely done with the ai buddy. I think it is already too late. Let me give you a recent example. When OpenAI launched GPT-5, their latest model, they planned to discontinue all existing models including GPT-4o, which was hugely popular. People treated it as their partner, psychologist, therapist, lawyer, doctor, teacher, blah blah blah. Many had formed deep emotional attachments to it. When OpenAI shut it down, the backlash was immediate. There were hundreds of angry Reddit threads and countless subscription cancellations out of frustration. On X, it was chaos as well. Eventually, OpenAI had to reverse course and make the models temporarily available until they decided what to do next. I have said many times, especially in this channel, that AI labs are deliberately getting us hooked on their products, and it has worked. People are addicted. You pay $20 per month for something that can answer almost anything, even if it is not always right, and people simply cannot get enough of it. That is why I sometimes warn that we may one day see mass protests over AI. AI is not going to take over. It already has. Now we just sit back and watch the story unfold.

The are just small board computers. But there are smaller. They are already included in lots of things. AI comes in many forms. A refrigerator does not need the knowledge of the world to run, so a small intelligent driver program on a small PIC will suffice.

If chat gpt5 were really that smart, it would not use labels. People don't walk around saying I'm one day better than yesterday. If AI was really smart, it would know how to talk to it's just to hide differences in it's abilities. Also if people were asking more and more questions, then it should realize it's not such a great device for providing comprehensible answers and dumb down it's responses.

Also, I’ve noticed that once you have an elevated role, people treat you differently. Some will try to be sycophantic just to gain extra advantages. Others will dislike you simply cz you are a mod and will argue with you to test the waters. The other day I was in a VC and someone asked if there was a mod present cz they were probably not comfortable speaking when one was around. It’s just absurd.
