Try to find a direction that interests you and learn in that area. Or try out as many fields as you want until you find what you really enjoy. That way, you can build skills and stand out. So In this story, the bank is going to flood the mail and phone lists with telephone numbers connected to AI bots. Ok, a question. Some databases (or is that databasi - latinus) have the ability for an auto generated primary key value when inserting records. Does postgresql have this ability or does it have some other method, or is it user defined?

That was on the second line of wiki for postgressql, and it put me to sleep for 3 hours. I have now recurrsed out of Atomicity - transaction processing - CICS - 3270 Terminals- zOS, after another 2 hours and have resumed on the first wiki page again

There are incremental auto-generated primary keys, numerical. and then there are UUIDs, which have sequences assigned to them, but I haven't worked much with UUIDs, ORM takes care of that. I also understand there is a possibility of UUIDs repeating themselves so I don't really get their idea

sqllite is one of the simplest

if it is language C what you want, you can try one called ObjectBox that is made in C and you can embedded it too in your program

yup, pg allows it. It has a few ways to achieve this: 'serial' or 'sequences'. with serial, it will auto increment the value, for example, if the primary key is an integer, it will write the next value automatically. Sequences also auto-increment internally, but they give you granular control if needed

or if you what somthing custom as primary key you can write a function

like write first a prefix peo + some random number + some kye word

It would be better for your application to use sql lite since you will not be sharing the database between many clients and you don't have concurrency

even more, you don't need to run the db server as in the case of pg, since it is a documented database you just read the file and write to it

something like a csv file, but it can support sql and work like a real database, not a parody
