I'm not a mobile dev, but my friend is, and he highly recommended flutter to me. He’s even tried to convince me a few times to start coding with it as well

not sure if you have any programming background, but if you know JS or TS, it would be easier to start with react. Flutter uses its own language dart, which isn’t too hard, but you need to learn its structure a bit

another thing is that flutter is also used for web, desktop and embedded apps. Even though react is also used for web, flutter might give a slight advantage in more development scenarios

I’ve noticed that flutter really allows you to create beautiful uis with smooth animations and more flexible customization

and pretty good documentation

I would recommend trying both and picking the one that works better for you. You can first try them online without installing everything (language, simulator and additionl tools )

As Puckipsi mentioned, Flutter is a very interesting option, but I recommend React if you already have web dev experience. The react community is bigger, and at least in my country, there are more companies looking for react native dev than flutter. Just try both and choose the one that fits better for you.

If you really need a multiplatform app (OS, Mobile and Web) within one codebase structure, I'd recommend Flutter, but if you're familiar with react based frameworks and have a good understanding of TS/JS go for react native, electron.js and next.js

The hard part was they did not give the most current code back to the airline, so I had to compare the binaries to see what may have had changes in it, and then try and replicate these mystery modifications, while continuing to update the system with new requirements

I know that the autopilot does the magic -real magic. When you're flying at high altitude, there are strong winds and you're not exactly flying straight. Minimum 8gb, but really 16gb+ should be standard ram for your dev machine. Graphics is not important as long as you are not also going to be a gamer. If it's a laptop, try for 17" screen which should also get you a numeric keypad along side your standard keys. You will go crazy with a small screen. Also try and get something that has a removable battery and buy yourself a spare. Lots of USB slots, and if you are still rich enough, a docking port to hook it into some big screens on your desk.
