What imaging software do you use?

If you use asiair or nina then you can tell it to slew and center and then image a specific target a a certain time or altitude

So U don't need to stay up for that long if your target isn't up at a feasible time

I use that feature to automatically stop my imaging session after the target I'm imaging hits a specific altitude

You can also configure for multiple targets in the same night

I use NINA. However I have to drive in a remote location to image, because I live in B7 area. So taking advantage of the b4 sky is really nice. So yes, I had the sequence set up to switch to Horsehead nebula after I finished with the main project. Then I packed everything up and went back home

At high focal lengths HFR is gonna be higher usually cause seeing becomes more of a limitation so lots of oversampling. My Esprit was usually below 2 HFR.

But way less sharp than my FLT 120 or 8" noot.
