I'm not sure if it's me being burnt out. It probably is since I've been on Genshin since day one. I've learned my lesson after speed running Liyue and Mondstat. Once content is dry.. it's just that. Unless you make your own certain goals within the game the appeal to it feels lost. I should've been able to enjoy the expansion of Inazuma, I should've went all out on Enkanomiya and Chasm yet it all feels like it barely serves a purpose. And don't get me wrong I loved every bit of content hoyo has been pushing out but something just feels off with every expansion and I've noticed myself just not caring much anymore even though I love this game.

What type of endgame are we aiming for? Co-op Situation ? Whales would probably have an easier time solo unless there is incentives with friends/flex with randoms.

no guild/clan to bring peeps together no raids no dungeons to really explore after you're done with your first run. FOMO effect on resin and limited time events yet they don't help out bring audience towards a longterm plan so

I went into this game with the goal of maxing out every character

Then, when I realized the sheer difficulty of that, I settled for maxing out the characters that I love

As well as the secondary goal of being able to complete all content, such as Abyss + all overworld content

however, three of the first characters I stumbled into that I really loved were Amber, Barbara, and Xinyan

abyss barely interests me anymore unless I'm helping or assisting someone with a different account

because the overworld hazes you into needing Pyro in ur exploration party early game, you have to use whatever Pyro unit you have in ur roster.

I hated Amber after that despite initially loving her playstyle, so I set Amber aside for later

I focused on maxing Xinyan. Except the game doesn’t actually explain what goals you want to go for for each character. And I get that maybe other more experienced gamers might have intuited some stuff about what stats are best to build

But I couldn’t figure it out at all. I didn’t do the kind of damage others were doing and I didn’t know why, despite building heavy into HP for Barbara, DEF for axing an and Noelle, and ATK for Fischl (the fourth member of my early team). There was no clear goal to work towards, insofar as “maxing every character I loved”
