most likely similar yes, many statements in the game already brought up that Natlan is going to be one hell of a hot place with most ppl not really daring to venture there. Simply because of the heat.
Since the music included some spanish themes my guess is currently that it'll be mostly red hot lava, met with dried out lands and mountains. With a tad of the Gerudo desert from OoT since they had castanetes in the "Teyvat chapter preview" back then.
Also many red-heads. By default since the Murata clan reigns supreme. (Yay for Himeko as the Archon!)

I do hope very much that Fontaine will at least be similar to what we saw in APHO. Really liked the place there, but since the Genshin team wants to differentiate the game from Honkai as much as possible...that might not become reality.

Ruin Serpent also contributed greatly to the attack of Khaenriahn force, so it wouldn't be too farfetch if some of the Ruin Machines invaded Teyvat through such tunnels

I supposed you mean "immortal", since "mortal" refers to the ordinary humans in compare to magical, illuminated and or divine beings. The Gods we know (Archons and similar ones) live long but they can be killed and their consciousness can fade away, so in a way, they aren't entirely immortal. And yes, they don't need vision to use elemental powers, Zhongli and Venti have fake visions to blend in with their people but Ei doesn't really have anything that resembles ones we usually see anyway

For some reason, they say "although Ina lore brought us insight into Teyvat's creation, the writing was bad" and honestly, I don't what's the bad writing they were referring to, and I didn't bother to ask further

So next Dain's quest taking place in Enkanomiya not only will make that place relevant again and bring attention to Phanes lore, it will contribute to the improvement of Inazuma's worldbuilding and story telling

Since Kaenri'ah was the ultimate threat to them due to their advancement in technology and the such, the God of Time might help us reach Kaenri'ah in the past, so the Fatui can access their technology and get rid of Celestia once and for all

And in the meantime, Gold and Alice will make an appearance and help

Gold specially, since she's pretty much one of the main reasons Kaenri'ah fell

And most importantly, Venti will be crucial, since it's been hinted in the temples and ruins of Mondstadt that both he and the God of Time are close, somehow

Some months ago we had no concrete idea Bronyas place in the APHO story, so it’s a rather bold move to predict everything

I really think there’s some similarities and some key archetypes on those similarities, but they’re still going to explore the genshin counterpart as their own character

I don’t think Ei is a total reissued version of Mei, although there’s some similarities in their whole goal/karma/moral/etc etc

It should be arbitrary how story and hangout quests are supplied for characters, instead of one Hangout for a 4-star or a story quest for a 5-star. I think there'll definitely be 4-star characters who are important to the story or are interesting to explore, and 5-stars like Yoimiya or Keqing who don't really have much to offer that makes their story quest interesting

i think especially collei should get a story quest instead of a hangout because i feel like she could use a much more coherent plotline (this isn't allowed by the format of hangout quests since plotlines for those are split up between endings)

You're encouraged to go back to back for each dialogue tree to gain multiple endings which contain one reward for each

VNs generally encourages you to go down the dialogue tree and go further and further

You have to go back and choose a different one a lot for genshin unless you just want to finish it in one ending and spare the rest
