on the topic of makoto and ei sharing a gnosis, i dont know? it may be a deal like 7 gnosis for each archon and they simply switch when an archon dies but then you wonder how the gnosis switches hands physically. does it magically teleport, or go to the nearest person (i doubt that). if it's a case where each archon does a their own gnosis and it retires and becomes defunct when an archon dies, then does that explain the heart of naberius (sp?) artifact from albedo's character story?

I was thinking about that. What happens in the case of an Archon suddenly goes kapoot. Like Makoto. She went kapoot. It just so happens that Ei is her sister and can easily take over the status of Electro Archon.

But like, for example, the Dendro Archon because they died in the Cataclysm Event (at least from what I've heard).. like how did they find a new one? Because I would assume the Gnosis isn't just like chilling around activated and all because any old bozo could get it then.

Also raises the question of does Celestia actually have a say or something? Or are they just like "Ya whatever"

I think one or more of these apply (I have no clue what happens with their old Gnoses'):

1 - New Archons are selected from existing vision bearers (I doubt this to be honest although I read somewhere a while ago where someone stated that If Morax died, Ninguang would probably be next in line)

2 - New Archons are put into existence after originating from their element (Venti was the wind, Morax was referred to as the God of Geo before becoming the Geo Archon).

3 - Celestia is involved in the process as Andrius' "Boreal Wolf's Nostalgia" outlines how Andrius did not see himself as worthy to be the Lord of the Wind.

i mean, the archons only got their gnosises presumably when they defeated all other contending gods during the archon war and became the archon of their respective nation/element; which, tangent, but did god's actually compete for title of "electro/geo/etc. archon" or archon of inazuma/liyue/etc. cause im not sure if orobaxi's element was related to electro...

anyways, if archons are only granted their gnosis after remaining the sole physical god in their nation, then ei would have already been tethered to the sword and her physical body extinguished/whatever and only makoto would have the gnosis

Thus Rhinedottir may have "cracked" that barrier open out of curiosity back then. Or by mistake.
Again only a theory but the space in which Dain/the Heralds disappear and the space that was used for Makoto's plane did seem kinda similar to the Quantum effects in Honkai and GGZ.

And all of these lead to a similar space in which Durandal and Otto were, "close to the Imaginary Tree roots" even with a similar structural build up.

I've thought about it tbh and have been thinking about it. There are 5 weapon types and 7 archons. So technically there would be at least 1 archon per weapon type. But then there'd be a weapon type that either has 2 extra archons, or 2 weapons types that have an extra.

My thonkings are just the following:
Venti - Bow
Zhongli - Polearm
Ei - Polearm
Dendro Archon - Catalyst
Hydro Archon - Catalyst
Murata - Sword or Claymore
Tsarista - Claymore or Sword (depends on what Murata is I guess)

Both HoV and Isaroth could be one and the same, at this point in time since we lack further information.
Since the Abyssal Order had something to do with the place thus connecting it to the Abyss and thus Kaenri'ah it is not an unusual sight that cubes were formed.

Evernight because there's no day in Enkanomiya. Before the artificial sun Dainichi Mikoshi (aka Helios) was built, the whole nation was enshrouded and darkness. The "day" in Enka is called Whitenight because although it's the country is lit up, it's still not a real "day"

Enkanomiya's other name Byakuyakoku also translates to "Whitenight Nation" as well

There are more to its lore but if you're only wondering about their "day-night cycle" there's your answer

Baal is the Archon name of Makoto, who was the first Electro Archon and the elder twin sister of Ei (also known as Beelzebul). She died 500 years ago during Cataclysm, after which the position of Electro Archon fell into Ei's hand.
