Alright, time to share my unwanted opinion about the new story quest and it's addition to Ei's/the Inazuma arc as a whole.

I am so glad her first story quest wasn't the ending because it sucked as an ending. Although I don't like how "fast" Raiden just gave in I really like the story quest all in all. I do know that the battle between the two took place for centuries but I still feel it was rather fast from the traveler's perspective. I'd like to have seen more of the fight but whatever. I also thought it was weird that Ei was battling for centuries but hardly cared?? Like when she came back she had no issues or even like felt relieved to be back, zero emotion but again just me nitpicking. I REALLY liked the scene with Makoto, the cutscenes were honestly what made this quest, but "meeting" Makoto was so cool. I really liked how Ei's development, finally having a good and interesting conclusion involved Makoto. I thought that whole tree scene with them was really sweet and felt like there was real emotion. I still really hate the Inazuma arc for basically cutting out the resistance, killing off some NPC nobody cared about because he was on screen for all of .5 seconds and many other things but that ending made up for at least some of it. Because despite not having a middle or hardly even showing the actual war, every story needs a good beginning and end and both of those were on point tbh.
