slow mode is to discourage active chatting because we don’t want this to turn into just another general chat channel like if happened before with many specific channels, we might decrease slowmode over time if 1m turns out to be too inconvenient for the members. for it people are free to ask here for friends with specific borrow units, really anything coop related that isn’t classic help with farming stuff. abyss eh not really, with low amount of new players only real purpose of genshin help is abyss/it teams help and eventually puzzle questions so no reason to add abyss here

this is more meant really for events like liben or when we get custom domains events and stuff because historically people asked for channels for that and mods are a bit slow to open it (because not all staff has perms to make new channels and life gets busy) so we figured we can just keep one channel permanently open, its fine for it to be slow if there aren’t any events it can be used for

nah modmail is fine, that is one of things it's there for

it's better than pinging role since modmail you open will ping all currently active moderators compared to pinging role that would ping all no matter if they are on or off

in another server which i was at when they had the issue they said its one of the recently added bots that got the scammers there and after finding and removing the bot it was fixed
