I have full control of my character and menus based off of visual cues and friends saying they see me move and such. This does not happen in a single player world though. I'm trying to download the pack but apparently downloading "Irons Spellbooks Icon.zip" returns 404 on Curseforge.
I've tried with both GDLauncher and PrismLauncher with the same issue.
From PrismLauncher it asked me to manually download it from this link https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/texture-packs/irons-spells-n-spellbooks-icons/download/4634573 which you can see throws 404, while on gdlauncher the autodownload gets stuck on 404 (so this issue is indipendant from the launcher). Downloading its page rather than the given link does not satisfy hashing. Being an installation issue, I've not modified the modpack.
To reproduce, just try to download the pack from scratch, currently the latest version (v25). It used to work some time ago, so I believe it should be a matter of just refreshing the link or something.

Did you wait the 5 seconds to start downloading? I've tried switching networks and using different browsers but it redirects to a 404 page right as the download should start. ATLauncher does the same thing as Prism Launcher, it asks me to download it manually and just sends me back to the faulty url

Phantoms will show up every night but they won't actually attack you unless you haven't been in a bed in the last 3 nights. Doesn't matter if you don't actually sleep

You'll hear certain cries from them when they're actually going down to attack

As for tearing your soul apart, it drops a "soul crystal" like the extradimensional vessel where you die. When you die, you lose one heart of max health, and picking up that crystal recovers it

If you have it in your download folder already, it will keep using it. Try removing it temporarily (from your download folder).
Also I've tried ATLauncher and Prism Launcher with no success.

Curseforge should work, its just that archived mods cant be downloaded alone and can only be downloaded when included in modpacks

but since the Author set it as no 3rd party distribution, it requires you to download it seperately

I assume the issue stands with the link in the pack's config. The specific link ATLauncher and Prism launcher provide (to do manual download, since third party is disabled) lead to the 404 download page, but I can download it just fine from the curse forge page. However, when I download it from going to its download page, it doesn't match the hash so neither Prism Launcher or ATLauncher recognize it as the correct thing to download.

An update to windows introduced a new security feature that prevents powershell files from running on your PC. This is great for your security, but not so great for our server start scripts, which require powershell to run them. Fortunately there is a quick fix for this!

Run powershell as administrator, then run Set-ExecutionPolicy RemoteSigned. Read the prompt and press accept. This will allow us to run scripts.

Next, navigate to your server directory using cd path/to/directory (for example: cd C:\Users\Username\Documents\Minecraft\Server)

You can now run the server by double-clicking the start.ps1 file, or typing .\start.ps1 into the command line while in the directory.

IF THE ABOVE DOES NOT WORK, TRY THIS
Run the command Unblock-File -Path .\start.ps1 in the same powershell window. This will allow the start script to not be blocked by windows, and run freely.

Questbook only really helps with irons spells and create mods.

I recommend exploring, looking into most structures. Find out which structures offer things, and which ones are from pyrologer mod (which does not have loot tables, but rather normal chests with set items in them)

cold sweat will only make things difficult, due to the very slim range of temperatures you can actually be in without consequence

Before mining too deep, make sure you unlock the quest reward for making the iron pickaxe to get the respirator which will prevent you from losing air due to being too deep or too high up

though if you wander enough, you really wont need to go mining, as iron, gold, diamond, and the likes are plentiful within structures you may find.

I recommend looking into the tetra mod, because its wonderful.

you can color code it with dye to add different channels

a bit overkill but if you're already pretty far off they're cheap enough to just use willy nilly

Please follow the guide here for changing the Java version your server uses. This will improve performance dramatically. If you are on a third party server host, you likely can not change the Java version your server uses. Bisect Hosting and a few VPS providers do allow changing Java version, though, which can usually be done through your server dashboard.

The method on Bisect is to simply go to the main dashboard page, and select "GraalVM 22" as the Java distribution. If it crashes, use 21 instead.
