The answer seems to be yes, knowledge of ages can be carried on the OH weapon, and it doesn't impact kills. So I can swap weapons when I don't care about drops.

I am new to setting up servers. I have put the files on the server via FTP. I've rebuilt the server multiple times to the same effect. The game keeps stating "Can't connect to server" and my friend and I can't connect. I'm lost as to what to do at this point and would like assistance if possible. I have checked multiple times to make sure the server address is correct and server name is also correct. I'll gladly give more information if it helps lead to resolution.

You didn't if you're still using curse

curse breaks downloads, and hogs resources away from your computer and not even to use towards the game, it uses it on itself for the bloatware from being owned by a bunch of different hooligan companies. so they never removed the bloat from previous owners then threw theirs on top

So my friend is hosting this modpack in his Linux server with an actual IP ( i think he is using something like Putty, i dont know, never tried hosting modpacks) and the mods work perfectly, except any custom recipes, features or quests work. I mean, the most apparent sign is the questbook being blanks and Tom's Simple Storage mod terminal crafting recipe does not require the create crafters.

What are we supposed to do in order to fix this issue?

To start, are you trying to right click with the respirator to equip it? Or are you trying to shift click it when the face slot isn't available

with the waterwheel down, there should be 8 blocks around it that arent filled. replace one of the spaces with a block. otherwise when you put water down, it will cause it to try to spin in both directions, and it wont do anything

Hello, I made a server with my friends with the share world option,it went well for like 2 days after that one of them got disconnected and that kept happening like every 5 minutes. 3 days later another one started to have this issue. When you first goto the nether come right back there is a quest that gives you a soul seed lantern. Hold that in your off hand and you will stay at a constant temp in the nether. But remember to plant soul seeds in soul sand to be able to refill your lantern

@lavish wing Set your entity radar to detect scavagers - get a soul crystal and a soul sword - enchant the soul sword with Soul Reaper V (yes, work on figuring out create hyper experience 'n get that going - saves you a headache) - get a quantum catcher and capture the scavager when you find one. With the crystal not in your inventory kill all the minions around, then put the scavager down and kill him to phase 2. Pick him up again when he drops the bag - take the crystal out - kill the bag with the Soul Steel Sword enchanted with Soul Reaper V. That'll give you 7 souls.

when the crystal is bound - you can forgo the need to be very specific about when the crystal is in the inventory

the next 9 times (you need to find 10 of them) you kill em, you can just go to town. Ensure you're killing with the soul steel sword and the crystal is in the inventory.

once ye got 10 (killed) - shove em (the crystal) in a soul revitalizer and reap the rewards :p

Is this the same modpack as your other servers or is this a different mod pack. I mean you can launch it manually and write another script. This is a really nice script, but you can do it as a 1 liner and just run it manually by hardcoding the switches and paths. variables.txt just holds you memory settings which I definitely recommend adjusting for a server 12Mb is what I run

IF THE ABOVE DOES NOT WORK, TRY THIS
Run the command Unblock-File -Path .\start.ps1 in the same powershell window. This will allow the start script to not be blocked by windows, and run freely.

This will take time.

Of course, you can always have salt crystals slowly drip salt into existence.

but most you can do at that point is to just make it even bigger to give a buffer to that issue

Yea I lucked out beating up one 'a those clockwork enemies on my run back to base after one death and it dropped a shell pouch
so I figured I'd rush gettin' my hands on a gun and went with that... only-needs-iron shotgun

another thing that helped me a lot was improvable skills, since leveling the skills cost XP, its rather easy to level since a lot of quests, especially from iron spells give xp levels, so make sure to have all your xp on you whenever you claim one of those quests to get the most out of it

tbh the flow of hardcore mode is quite similar to rlcraft except the bullshit part

early game you get one shotted alot

mid game you get protection and improvable skills which is where things get way easier

and then end game the end mobs start to one shot you again

fortify is also very good for extra hp

you can craft curious charm with magma cream on the tetra table to get fire res
