Well, you can either try to stay within a certain radius of spawn

or you can do what I do and run off in a random direction until you die and then lose everything and delete the world

its best to stay away from some structures, mainly the ones that have pillagers in them, though the cabin tends to be alright, and gets you pretty set

I'm a little confused about chests. the default chests won't work with sophisticated storage, but the ones I made with planks surrounding a redstone torch (which someone mentioned) are sophisticated but I can't find a way to upgrade them?

Just make a train delivery of a bunch of netherrack. If you're truly concerned about space in that case, just make the wheels flat with the belt and crush that way rather than a downwards drop.

Plus if you do it right you can just have it all operate in the Nether with some chunkloading tucked away in your infinite-ish space.

I've got an issue with Scorched Bronze Guns / mrcrayfish's gun mod, when i try reload it does 1/10th the animation. I have triple checked the full ammo packs in my inventory are the same mod as the gun.

I have noticed online there is sometimes an issue with the mod when you press reload twice it cancels the reload, I am not doing that.
I have also seen in Controls there is two R keybinds which are linked when i try change one.

You're reading it wrong.

The pouches are meant to be stackable, compact storage of the bullets in question.

You put the pouches into your crafting grid to turn them into stacks that you then load into your weapon.

Alright, well, you need to find a Forge Hammer and add some upgrades.

Of course by Pari's show the Forged Structures will be quite noticable, so long as you peek at your map - they'll generally look like hallways stacked on hallways, with intersections creating large blocks that may include a hammer and even schematics.

my server has randomly started massively running behind

it is at all times at least 20 seconds behind

it started doing that earlier tonight while no one was logged in and i cant find out why

i increased the amount of cpus the vm can access and increased the servers ram from 4gigs to 7 and its not better

i also stopped any map render threads that may have ran in the background

and i downgraded from java 21 to java 17 (i couldnt get java 18 or the temurin versions working)

and its so bad that the server becomes completely unresponsive if anyone tries to log in

no amount of just letting it run for a bit seems to allow it to catch up either

any ideas? any way i could make it run better

the literal second that the server starts it is running behind and can never catch up

its getting passthrough access to 3 cores/ 6 threads on a 6th gen i7

Its now running on my main pc, a ryzen 9 7900x, and its not running behind anymore, but trying to connect still times out the connection

I don’t know what happened but at least the server will run on some machines

And its using up so many resources that minecraft running in the same machine only gets 2 fps, entirely cpu bounding

Soul sprouts can be used to refuel it. Then again, you should bring home some with some soul sand and a bucket's worth of lava.

They will only grow near lava and on Soulsand, like you're farming it.

My mc keeps crashing.
After I migrated to ATLauncher, not all mods were transferred. I noticed a few minutes ago that create: copycats+ wasn't installed, so I did that, along with create: ore excavation, and I reinstalled create deco, create steam and rails and create enchantment industry because I thought that that button being there meant it wasn't in the pack, can anyone help?

The game runs perfectly smooth at all times except for some recipes on rare occasions, but I'll give it a look to see if anything about NEI/JEI is in there

We also just found out it's temporary, the water wheel recipe doesn't lag for my friend anymore. odd. fixed itself i guess

pack is pretty cool so far I randomly came across an everdawn portal, and we have guns. My favourite is my starter-ish sniper rifle that I made for me and my friend

I crafted myself a Magnetic Ring. It worked for about 15 minutes, but suddenly stopped. I tried many things, from equipping it in a different slot to restarting the game/my PC. I upgraded it to the Dislocation Ring, and it still doesn't work.

The second value is armor toughness btw, strong attacks nullify armor up to 80%, and armor toughness reduces that by 1 point per toughness
