Hey sharkie, you asked for a SS yesterday when I said I am getting a message when I load the pack that says I am using more memory than recommended and the recommended is 4000 mb (when the pack says to use at least 6 GB, right?).. so here is the screenshot in a new launcher (that uses actually lower default than the 8GB I had planned to use) :
so... the FTB app installed and runned the instance and it loaded up but all the resource packs were in the mods folder instead of the resource packs folder. So is there a certain way I need to load them up so I can get the nice fonts and stuff in the menu? Cause right now it is still vanilla font

I've got a fun one, kind of a PSA
I updated a server from 2.5 -> 3.5, everything else was default from curseforge, including server config
logged in today to find ~6 chunks corrupted and regenerated themselves, looking at the server logs shows that yesterday while playing the server encountered issues saving the chunks, and once all players were off the contents of them were lost. only 1 of the chunks had anything that I would see as being of issue (some early create mod stuff) but the others were empty except for some structures that got erased now that they regened betraying their corruption.
Server closed and saved successfully after, so the issue isn't persistent with the chunks after they reset
I'm just assuming it's a complication rooted from updating without making a new world, but figured I'll share here in case

In theory this only really occurs when you don't have enough space on your SSD/HDD, or if it's not fast enough. If enough data can't pass to and from your RAM to your storage, you get lag.
Golden rule for SDD to RAM allocation is 2:1. For every gb you allocate to RAM, have 2 free gigs of storage

for washing filter, i would look at the attribute filter, and set it to a 'can be washed' blacklist
that will block anything that can be washed, but let thru any resulting products

the cashed files values have bloated up in the last few days and I noticed
before I never had more than 1-2 GB cashed
and sometimes it would use swap
but now 0 swap and instead 5-6 GB cashed
which I am not sure why or what has changed
